"The specific legal effect is to fully and completely terminate the Bivens case. It means that for seven very courageous plaintiff shareholders, they are at no further risk. It means for all shareholders [putative class action members all] that the US Government is free from the threat of additional litigation, at least in the practical sense."
I think agreements where made.

I read this message this morning and I am happy and upset all in one. Happy that this might actually happen - AH you got me excited AGAIN. Upset/Disappointed because I feel this is the same message we have been hearing for the last 3 years with AH that we will be paid "soon" and nothing has happened. I guess we put our trust in your one last time. I hope it works out for everyone. I wish I knew what soon meant.

These updates used to get me excited. Now I find myself numb to them, not getting excited not getting upset, just numb.... It reminds me of a time when one of my family members was in the hospital and the doctor saying "they are not going to make it", then the very next second "they are improving", Then again "they are not going to make it". You become numb to the whole roller coaster ride of emotion after a certain length of time. I guess the best option you have is to see how it all plays out in the end and not let emotion get involved...... Sucks.........

From RB ... Hodges knows he isn't getting paid; and his 7 plaintiffs, he hand picked are not getting paid as well....none of them are bona fide legitimate shareholders of record....they are delidog holders period. he hyperbole about our funds being in the global reset is garbage, he knows nothing of value, he tried to get control of our distribution and failed; his update is so false; i can't believe he would put it in print. Maheu turned the trust over to the SEC for safekeeping pending their planned lawsuit against CMKM...Maheu's part was finished when he resigned; he could do no more since the SEC GRANDFATHERED OUR NSS'D SHARES.... Hodges had no clue of any of the above; a judge now has control...Judge Hicks and another federal judge is involved. Hodges is so over, he was paid by BHollenegg/aka tuscan9/Lavern Smith Scales to file a lawsuit to cause intentional delay of our payout that should have occurred in 2010....Scales wanted to get her delidog shares paid, as tuscan9 she pumped this board under the alias of BHollenegg promoting the fraudster Hodges who also was trying to get his billions of delidog shares paid out of bona fides trust by a court order; even tho, none of them were bonafide. Last one out...shut off the lights please...... What lights and where's the exit? We've been wandering in darkness for years, waiting and hoping for Al to switch-on the lights.

Im wondering if Mahue had set some sort of offshore trust up through some type of entity. Certainly, SK could get with Al and confirm this to the bonafide shareholders. It does seem the Supreme Court ruling stops all further non bonafide lawsiuts especially. Assuming, this update is legit of course...

There is going to be some pretty irate people after reading this so-called "Update". Most of us are just so numb to this non-sense we could really care a less.
Is there something else lurking in the shadows for us? I guess we will find out!

"Very soon"..that is a big statement to write so will be interesting to see what happens here and he has to realize that his statements have fallen flat in the past and for him to write that...if another month goes by that is waht will irk me about all of this

For the record, she's wrong about Bhollenegg. He is a HE and one that I have spoken to several times. Tuscan is not Lavern whoever from Houston, she is a woman who lives on the west coast. I will not be persuaded by this poster to betray any personal info about another poster, but trust me... Tuscan is not who this person claims she is. ... and no matter how many times she "Thank you, Father" 's us, the women does not speak facts about anything! W hether she's delusional, paranoid, or just a liar, I don't know... but she's not even worth the time it took me to author this post. Over and out. Ed

Much appreciated. rockman

Thanks for asking rock, but mine is just another personal opinion among a bunch of opinions.
I think this update is a gift.
I've had the privilege of getting to know Al Hodges a little more closely than many here. To say we're bosom buddies would be going too far, but like many here have done with others, we've struck up a friendship based on our mutual situation and interests.
I have found Al to be a man of conviction. He knows what he knows, believes what he believes and stands his ground accordingly. As a shareholder who happens to be an attorney, he carried that conviction all the way to the highest court in our country. He did it without asking for assistance beyond the original 7 who supported him and the 5 that chose to remain. While a few I know bought lunch along the way, he sacrificed his assets, his reputation, his well-being to some extent because of his conviction. He never once said you had to follow him, never once mandated his position was the only one and never ever posted a retaliatory comment to the scores of viciously infantine verbal scud missiles sent his way. And to demonstrate the extent of his conviction, he signed this update--not with a fictitious username on an internet website--but with his name, title, and contact information. Its as if to say...this is who I am, and what I believe to be true based on what I know. Conviction. Character. Commitment.
Why is this a gift?
Because this presents closure. If you're not inclined to believe the man you have your foundation to walk away. Some might mumble "you got what you paid for" but I would disagree. It was a gift. The ability to compartmentalize this travesty we've been living and either press on, or walk off. It was a gift if you recognize some of what he's saying is indeed being covered in today's headlines as it brings an understanding for those that wish to try to understand. He's not asking us to do anything...rather just presenting, freely and without insult or injury to our ability to think for ourselves and decide accordingly.
Its also a gift because now--thanks to the plaintiffs as well as Al and his team--we know that the government has no interest in the plight of the shareholders suing the government over anything CMKX. For those that would consider filing on our own, this saves an untold number of hours and dollars...the SCOTUS said no. The precedent is set.
It is a gift because now Steve Kirkpatrick can continue the process of initiating a start-up company without extra distraction and with clarity of purpose. Steve called me the other day...we spoke for about an hour. I find in him some of the very same qualities I find in Al...conviction and a desire to see good come for the benefit of shareholders. Two separate men with different sets of talents, separate callings and separate purpose, yet a similar goal--beneficial results for shareholders. Each with separate challenges...but similar heart.
This is the largest active CMKM community on Proboards. I am blessed to be here along with the others I participate on. I have profound appreciation for each board, their founders and many of the members... people of disparate backgrounds. I appreciate the respectful difference of opinion when it causes conversation that helps me grow. I hang around in the selfish hope of being the occasional encourager, and seeing the dreams we've all voiced come to fruition through one opportunity or another. We've had some laughs along the way as well--coined some new words that still bring a smile when I see them--and some others that truly have become the epitome of a 4-letter word to us now. (S_ _ _) LOL!
When I bought this stock many years ago my wife and I decided we would tell no one. We haven't. I feel compassion for those that have lost face and friends because they did and this wait has destroyed or impeded those relationships. But those are personal decisions, the responsibility for which lies in just one place. I really appreciate what Dennis Smith said years back (I'm paraphrasing) when he encouraged everyone to live their life as though this wasn't happening and be surprised when it does. Showme voiced the same recently. Its good for me to remember as I have responsibilities for many people other than myself.
I wanted to enjoy this with my father...he passed away in 2005. And as my mother edges towards 90, I am hopeful I can one day rejoice with her. Last Friday I sat in a waiting room for 12 hours while my wife was in surgery for 7. Today one of my closest friends is in surgery for 5 while they biopsy the organ transplant he had a while back. And in a couple weeks, (June 8) another "board friend" (and member here) goes into the hospital for an organ transplant of her own. Life is tough. But I'm thankful to know my source isn't CMKX, it isn't the efforts of Al Hodges, the White Knights, Steve Kirkpatrick or my fellow shareholders here. My trust, my hope and my peace all emanate from the same source...the One who created me to begin with. I hope you can find peace there too.
This board is NOT closing shop. (just in case someone starts that rumor) I am staying here as always...I believe all Mods feel the same. And we hope you do too. Let me remind us all, for the sake of those who do enjoy this community...please communicate with one another while maintaining the board rules, which Aretha belts out as only she can...R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Al's a tough guy with thick skin, but he's a member too so please remember that.
Sorry if this was preachy and too long. I'll try to come back later and edit it down. Thank you rockman for the invitation to respond, I'm in the same boat as all and this was cathartic.

"In addition, you will receive a payment for the unconscionable length of payment delay." Can I please receive payment for the delay of payment in fiat currency? I'll take my chances with that money until the new currency is in place. I'll take payment in cat toys! Sheesh!

So then my question is, what happened to all the money, where is it, or was it never? Did we get outplayed, or was there never a collection of funds from the start?
