The statute of limitations is hogwash since he was already indicted and going to trial. I think the statute line was in regards to a civil action, not legal. Exactly why this makes no sense.

One could certainly draw some amazing parallels to UC/JE, AH and his band of plaintiffs, imo. You can use your vivid imagination anyway you choose. I wasn't remotely drawing an assimilation nor implying nor inferring. pr

Mike, you and 3Bid with your eloquent linguistics make me laugh, why not just say that I am not a good judge of character with a face to face confrontation and Mike, you can give me face!!! Crap happens. That's the simple gist of it. We can be fooled. I really hope you're correct and Al is a good guy. I lean strongly that way too. But I can't quite go as far as feeling comfortable believing what I can't prove. Time will tell. Remember my story about the serial killer with whom I associated, for a brief time? I had no clue that he was active in homicide at the time, and I was vulnerable. I didn't fit the profile of the victims, and we were friends. But a buddy of mine fit the profile: blond, thin male. I unknowingly placed him in harm's way. He met my 'friend' who wanted to buy some electronic equipment he had for sale. They were musicians. With my 'friend' driving, they went to my 'friend's' home in the country. It was evening and getting dark. He could easily have been the next victim. Anyway.... the sale didn't close, and my buddy got a ride home, safely. A couple days later, I had a message on my answering machine: "Thanks a lot, Dan... Have you seen the front page of today's paper?" The home in the country had holes dug in the ground. My buddy saw some of them. My 'friend' confessed to what he could remember. He acted on voices in his head, and messages from radio and TV. He, apparently, thought me to be a good guy. My buddy still will not discuss his experience, now 22 years ago. The simple gist of it is, we can be fooled. A face to face confrontation with a serial killer can teach a valuable lesson. -3bid

And very similar to Coben's latest NYT suspense mystery: www.harlancoben.com/novels/missing-you/pr

While this sounds indeed like a sick woman, one cannot dismiss the obvious void of moral fiber from each man involved in her conquest. Not only did they lack the integrity and commitment to the spouse they've built their lives around, they chose momentary pleasure over the forethought of the destruction their actions would bring to their family and the very children each man fathered. The selfish desire shows them to be shallow men, all 17+ of them. The saddest part of the story is not only the wake of destruction THEY left behind, but the indelible impressions these fathers made on their children. Had they the courage and chutzpa to just say "no"...their families wouldn't have suffered and may not have been destroyed. pr One could certainly draw some amazing parallels to UC/JE, AH and his band of plaintiffs, imo. PR, Good regurgitation of the obvious metaphor. The real analysis is the parallel to the situatedness of cmkxdom. Mike

I'm sorry but that was a line given out by the guy who left the company we invested in with 500.00 in the bank. How much did this wonderful fellow take from the company? He left nothing for anyone's children or grandchildren.
