If that is the case, any pps derived from a buyout, tender offer, etc... would be determined buy the shareholder(s) holding 51% or better of the real float. Which would lead me to believe that we would not have a choice in the pps. Maybe that is the hold up. Maybe there is still a back and forth negotiation going on similar to the Denison buyout. Unlike the Denison buyout of Omega, in which all the shareholders are deciding at what pps they are willing to sell (in the public eye), that part of our situation may be happening for us as we speak. We don't have a say. We don't own real SHARES The pps will already be determined for us. we have never voted on anything. Why would we have a say now? Maybe denison is a hint of what may be going on behind the scenes for us. I'm not saying that the pps is the same but it could be that the process is the same. By bburrell on 3/16/2006 9:35 AM I got detailed reports four months ago on the outstanding number of shares as being 700B. I was then informed that Urban, Edward et al had returned 600B to the Treasury. I haven't stayed closely in touch with this since, but today I was told the shares turned in actually exceeded the attributed float. The Task Force is supposed to put something out today or tomorrow on the status of their efforts, and we will find out if the 700B number was accurate or understated, and exactly how many shares were returned to the Treasury by UC and Edwards. I have had one source tell me that they returned over 740 B themselves. There are no dates thus far attached to these returns, so I don't know if this modifies the true outstanding number from the originally signalled 100B. Anything is possible here. Let's say the 700B number is the correct one. If so, any amount in excess of this is counterfeited. We will all watch and see. www.thesanitycheck.com/Blogs/BudBurrellsBlog/tabid/84/EntryID/159

Posting about the SEC hearing today at 200 PM EST:
======================================
Cox sure is taking the soft shoe approach with his silver tongue. I did hear something good out of his mouth and that was more big settlements are to to disbursed soon. Are we in that thought? I hope so.

After a long and fruitful career when one decides it is time to either retire or transition to another careed, usually, almost always, the CEO decides to take a nice long break from the routine. It allows him/her to clear their head, reminisce and reflect on all they have done in that career, lives they have touched, where they've been, and most importantly it gives the CEO time to see where he's going at the next phase of his life. Our CEO has a long and lasting lifetime of memories, benevolent memories, on which to relfect. He has gotten caught up in some shady spots at times, but he brought this company through them as he stood to the forefront, and as a great leader said, 'follow me'. He has asked us to be patient 'one more time'. That time is not here yet, but I do believe it is closer than we've ever been. When it is time for him to speak, he will. When it is time for the 23-page PR to be release, it will. When valuation must be shown in a filing, it will. When the stars line up for this great company moving toward a conglomerate, it will. In the meantime, be kind to others and drag them along with you on this journey, because there is no getting off the bus until we reach the terminal. It is designed that way for a very specific reason. Things, events, are happening on an accelerated timeline now, and it may not seem like that to you, but it is my opinion that we will have to wait it out a little longer. That's all you've been asked to do by the CEO: Wait it out one more time. Since we're in, we will win. Get off the boards now and take a stroll around the block. You're going to want some stamina back when the final curtain is drawn. Enjoy your day as if it was your last. Of course, imo.

Nothing flips that fast from "glorious" expectations one moment to still experiencing the "journey" that we all have known with delay, after delay, after delay. The shareholders have always somehow been kept in the dark, and shuffled around like cards placed in the shoe. From a public entity to a private one with the door shut tight. Enough of these nonsensical time lines. The rumor/message remains the same. The time line though is under continual contract extension- BY the players. The shareholders experience the net effect. It's what they make of it. Not pleasant for the most part. Not justified for the most part. Certainly not humane. JMHO.

Jump to msg. # Greedy, please keep in mind the background, experience, contacts, and character of the "master" and the company he founded. You have been provided a most recent lesson of what you are dealing with here. I think you are being a bit too dismissive of the abilities and level of talent of the individuals behind affiliated with this. This needed to look, smell, and taste as bad is it did. It is tough to fathom on many a level, but IMO the ends will justify the means. Greedy, it is a felony to divert corporate funds and I am glad you mentioned this. To date, some silly civil suits and a slap on the wrist by the NASD to NevWest. Strange how our new leadership has ghosted all NSS communication or shall we speak of it now as FTD's? Ironic that there has been a halt on the previous incessant requests by others to pull OBO/NOBO's. Make some calls to some of your high ranking governmental officials; see how far you get with regard to what you opine about daily. You appear to be fairly educated; someone might take you seriously and examine what you allege. See how far you get my friend. There is surely enough handwriting on the wall involving parallel events that have transpired since the "plan" has been implemented. Not only was the problem acknowledged publicly, it is now being rectified before your/our very eyes. We sit and wait patiently/impatiently to see how the final exit plan will be transpire. Yes it is my opinion that they systematically stole companies...starting out with the $400,000 in 1985 and scooping up the value in the 6000 companies slayed with illegal NSS. Do I think Blackstone 'stole' all of them? No, perhaps not all of them... but this, imo, is the true reason for the IPO....and they owe money...and that is why they had to do the IPO. ragingbull.quote.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CMKI&read=565005
