the wrapped up 17b moves forward. fine.
but what happens to the 622B? and who owns those shares? URBAN? the company? because someone has to own them.
you can say shorty owns them but that's not right. shorty sold those 622B to someone. they didn't sell the shares to themselves.
so, who owns the remaining 622B shares and what pressure can be brought to bear on the brokers or whoever to pay for those naked short shares?

Keep up the battle, just like the Mexico defeated France on "Cinco De Mayo" we will defeat the bad guys also.

newtopennies, Here is a tidbit of history referencing shares here, shares there and then some;
by bhollenegg vegas member ***** Re: It's BIG Folks...REAL BIG!!! « Reply #4 on Yesterday at 12:23am » From January 2003 to November 2003 CMKI's total authorized shares were 17.2 Billion Shares. In November 2003, CEDE had a total of 34 Billion Shares of CMKI not settled until 2004. The 34 Billion figure is not counting the CEDE CMKX Shares that were surrendered in 2003 and cancelled out the corresponding issued shares.
I did not count the Billions of shares CEDE had issued for the month of December 2003, because in December 2003 Urban retired 16.5 Billion CMKI Shares to the Treasury Department and increased the authorized shares to 200 Billion when the stock symbol changed to CMKX.
In other words, when Urban retired the CMKI shares there were 121 Million authorized shares of CMKI (not counting Urban‘s 600 million locked-up shares), yet CEDE had 34 Billion Shares issued and certed…which is 281 times the authorized CMKI shares.
Urban increased the outstanding shares to 200 Billion in December 2003/January 2004, then in March 2004 to 500 Billion, and finally to 800 Billion in August 2004.
Now look at Ameritrade on December 7, 2004...80 Billion shares issued and certed, and 40 Billion shares surrendered all on the same day.
Also on September 24, 2004, Ameritrade was issued certed shares 10 times for 458,262,366 shares,… 7 times for 919,942,422 shares, …5 times for 976,000,000, … 4 times for 937,500,000, …4 times for 825,000,000 on and on. I feel the increases in the authorized shares was set in motion to cover the naked shorted shares.
Thank you, BHollenegg HRM

Why are the bashers here?
What did the hope to accomplish with their relentless 24/7 trashing
of CMKX.
If somebody was paying them [any of them]...What was their return?
The only thing I could ever figure out was, if there was a decision shareholders
would have to make...that bashers were here to influence our decision.
Other than that, I have no understanding why people who feel the contempt
that they do, would spend all their time trashing what many say they don't even own.

It seemed like a 'ckeck list' had been followed to the 'T', and everything

Jump to msg. # monetary, who currently owns the 622B shares? someone has to own them? they were sold short (or FTD) into the market. so, who bought them?
someone has to own all those shares sold into the market. i thought it was all of us, the small retail investor.
i assumed urban promoted CMKX to tens of thousands of small time investors and encourage all of them to BUY, BUY, BUY. that scenario made the possibility of 10k, 20k, 40k, 60k investors a reality. and it also made sense that there would be 622B shares owned by all of those small time investors.
now it is being suggested that there are ONLY 4,000 small time retail investors and only 17B shares were sold to them and that's all there is?!!! what???
what happened to the 622B that was dumped into the market? who bought all of those shares? if it wasn't us, the small time investor then who bought all those shares?
