A little wed morning spec-o-lating .....so Edwards is still mia but did they snag any of his accounts? Will the doj tell us what they have collected so far? Have any funds been collecting interest & if so how long & how much? Just a few questions not sure if they are taking any questions or how if they are.....townhall implies two way....anyone else have any questions in case we can ask? New questions for doj townhall thread port? Edwards MIA?  Uh yeah, because he died in custody....lol. I hope they say nothing of amounts because if they do it most likely won't be a significant amount. Instead, I hope they provide additional clarity on who is eligible to receive restitution, the procedure(s) we are to follow to participate in the restitution, and the required documents we will need to bring with us. I pray there is a NDA because that would indicate other parties who wish to remain anonymous settled out of court.... wink, wink.... |

I don’t think we need another thread for Q’s...let’s keep it together here. Besides, they’re not looking here for Q’s. Though if they would, I have just one: why did this take so long—what were we waiting on? Okay that’s two...but I’d love to know the reason for the delay since Judge Hicks has already stated restitution was collected and all we’ve heard was there’s nothing there.  |

It's a shaky world out there--but don't fall into the trap of bantering the word "hope" about carelessly. A friend of mine put it this way: Help – reach out to someone who needs an act of kindness. Open your heart to miracles Pray – make this the year that you take time to talk to God Enjoy – enjoy what you have. Don’t dwell on what you don’t have. Fix your mind on the good around you and enjoy it. I think the key here is the E. Too many people have put their life's "hope" in CMKX as a bailout program over an added blessing. If a bailout, disappointment may come at any price. If a blessing, then any price becomes a gift. Easier said than done perhaps--but come Friday we're one step closer to closure. Loosen the grip, relax your expectations and realign your priorities. A day of something outweighs 15 years of nothing regardless of what it may be. |

I am logged into the presentation right now. There is just a static slide. The host will be Douglas Heimlich from the DOJ. United States Vs, Jeffery Turino et al. Case No. 2:09-CR-132 (D.Nev) This is interesting to me. Many of the other DOJ communications have cited John Edwards et al. Listing Turino here might mean nothing, but I long ago heard that Turino would be the key to RICO. Though I also seem to recall when we learned of his conviction and subsequent sentence was "for time served"...there didn't seem to be a mention of RICO. Today will be interesting either way. By the way, the link (provided earlier int his thread) does not require you download the Cisco WebEx software or app. There is a web portal but I believe you may have to be registered to access. I was sent an email and link indicating my registration was approved, where I could then just log into the portal itself. |
