If I remember correctly, Judge Hicks told Matt Kulig that funds for restitution had been collected and they would be setting up this process. Here we are.

Thanks for letting me in. I too am another long time lurker and even loooonnnnger time shareholder. But who isn't, right? LOL! I have checked out that telegram room. I'm not too fond of that MarkZ guy but the rest of the people sure seemed to be legitimately trying so I'll give him credit for creating the space. Like many I've checked in on this board every so often. 2010-2011 it sure 'felt' like getting paid was going to be more than a fantasy. But ever since then I've tried to move on yet the curiosity had never left. I hope I didn't miss the boat by not contacting the Nevada DOJ about being a shareholder. Aside from my cert I have no actual trading record. My etrade account doesn't go back that far. Anyway I definitely am interested to see what this virtual town hall meeting will indeed be. I know what we'd all like it to be and for the love of GOD I would like for all of us to be just that, but the jaded pessimist inside me figures it's just them telling us officially once and for all, "Sorry but there's nothing for you. Have a good day." Until then good luck everyone!!

Though unverified, there is some info buzzing about that if shares were purchased prior to April 2008 the DOJ considers them harmed. Reportedly this comment originated from Debra Waite, who is no longer with the DOJ in NV. Absent that, I have no info on anything else. We wait.

Lewis, In my IMO all bona fide shareholders should be paid . What I don't understand ,is why the DOJ does not have a master bona fide shareholder list . Getting back to your question , you can try to contact Veronica Christie at her email address and hopefully you're not too late .

The paragraph below is the latest update we have on this case and I advise you to attend the virtual townhall for more information and help you understand the process and eligibility to be put in to the Victim Notification System. Take care.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office will host a virtual town hall in mid-February for victims in this case to describe the current status of the criminal case and explain the upcoming restitution process. The link to the virtual town hall will be available on this webpage in early February. Review of the more than 1,000 submissions from potential victims in this case is ongoing. If the FBI requires any further information from a victim, they will contact that person using the contact information provided on the victim impact statement.

Have you ever seen the hernia mesh lawsuit commercials on tv? Just because you have hernia mesh surgery doesn't mean you're damaged nor that you're automatically compensated for damages. You have to take action or join a CAL to be eligible. Same applies here imo. Also, it's the shareholders responsibility to keep up to date with information of their investment in the now private company. It's clearly spelled out on the D.O.J. Website.

I interpreted the "YES" as "yes, many people have not yet received their VIN/PIN so please make certain you attend the town hall meeting." I could be wrong, but there was no further conversation stating otherwise. Another shareholder has stated:

"It is my understanding from talking to them that as long as you have your certificate and proof of purchase with cost, you should be good to go. We should have more information tomorrow about the date and time for our meeting! Good luck to everyone."

I don't know that they're going to update anyone/thing tomorrow...but it is how things seems to roll with the Gov. Drop the news on a Friday so people will forget about hassling us come Monday.
