UPDATE: February 19, 2021: We originally scheduled the town hall for February 26. To ensure that we are able to provide the most comprehensive presentation we can, however, we are rescheduling the town hall for Friday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. PST. I don't see an update to any content, though I've not read through the attached documents at the bottom to see if one has had updated information. There has NOT been an updated link to the Town Hall posted as of 3:20ET today. Thanks for being diligent and checking everyone!  |

Because of the substantial number of victims in this case, the upcoming town hall will help our office reach a large number of you at once and to answer the questions we have received about the CMKM Diamonds case. Although the most recent defendant who pleaded guilty did so in 2018 (the year before I began serving in the District of Nevada), I first became personally aware of this matter in July 2020, when a victim reached out to me. Since then, while one defendant remains a fugitive, our office has moved quickly to communicate as much information as possible, and we remain committed to doing so after my resignation as U.S. Attorney becomes effective on February 28. Got an email from Attorney Trutanich. It came to me addressed through the VNS with my VIN/pin included. The content was about the town hall moving to March 5. Nothing more, but suffice to say as someone who signed up for a VIN/pin years ago, their system is working. |

I was able to register for the Webinar but I still haven't received a vin/pin. I'm sure it will come ....

It appears that we've been funneled into one board for another major up and coming event, said to be soon and revised to a slightly later soon. One indefinite thing at a time is all I can manage at this late stage of whatever you want to call this ordeal, saga, infinite process to closure, lifetime eating stock nightmare. I still hope for the best and that includes something reasonably rewarding if at all possible for all entitled survivors. No faux gold watch and chain for the bonafide, please. -3bid |

Just received news from a friend they received an email from U.S. Attorney's office with an invite to attend the town hall on March 5. She had sent her Victim Impact Statement in one week before the deadline. Good luck to us. Just received mine now
