He's been sitting there ever since. You could even hear the echo in his home when he spoke bc it was all empty. I think he's a real nutjob who's lost nearly all his marbles but I think he really believes all of the stuff he's saying. It gives constructive notice to the world that a lawsuit involves a claim affecting title, possession or use of an easement on real property. The notice is also required to be filed in Court. Code of Civil Procedure sec.s 405.20, 405.40. By recording a notice of lis pendens, a party to that action preserves rights or interests, if any, in the real property pending the final determination of the action. Any taker of a subsequently created interest in that property thus takes that interest subject to any judgment rendered in the pending action. See La Paglia v. Superior Court (1989) 215 Cal.App.3d 1322, 1326, 264 Cal.Rptr. 63. The practical effect of recording a lis pendens is that it causes a cloud or charge to be placed on the title, such that the current title holder will find it difficult to finance, refinance or sell the property. Lending institutions will generally not loan money secured by the real property. Title insurance companies will not insure the title. The title to the subject property becomes unmarketable until the lis pendens is expunged or voluntarily removed. ragingbull.quote.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CMKI&read=671276

Jump to msg. # Keen Observation Ralph74000! And in Sparky's humble opinion; it appears that the Plunge Protection Team (PPT) has solicited the assistance of CNBC in its market-rigging efforts. And IMO the Street ought to be real suspicious of these literally insolvent US-based Prime Broker pigs being so interested in bailing out the similarly-insolvent mono-line insurance industry ~ Doesn’t the latter insure Trillions in crap that appears on the books of the former? Talk about a Faulking Conflict of Interest!! For this reason, not to mention the pathetically convoluted math involved; Sparky thinks this mono-line bailout plan will be about as effective, successful, and publicly-embraced as Paulson's SIV super fund idea, or his Life Line plan, or his infamous Hope Now idea. Paulson doesn't seem to realize that all these layers (leverage) are what’s behind the problem here; and that adding still another layer is not the solution. Sparky PS -- As the Street realizes it was hook-winked by the PPT just before the close Friday, US index futures have turned around and it now appears the Dow will open down at least 5 points, the S&P 500 down about 2, and the Nasdaq down about 7 – In a nutshell, it appears the equity markets are about to resume the slide that was in effect pre-CNBC on Friday; but much can change. At 10:30 NY Time, for instance, we expect Existing Home Sales data for Jan. The Street is looking for a 4.8 million unit annualized rate, with a 4.65 – 4.95 million unit range; but this could be way, way off. And remember, no matter how the data is spun, Existing Home Sales are by far the biggest slice of the housing market. And along these lines, pre-open this Monday, Goldman Sachs (GS), speaking of pigs, has downgraded its ratings on the shares of Washington Mutual (WM), Fannie Mae (FNM), and Freddie Mac (FRE). Now why would GS analysts do that if they didn’t know something we don’t about housing – Cough, cough, cough.
