Moran could say he did not have anything to give so why he did not say so? /////////////////////////////////////// Q: Has John T. Moran III responded to any requests for documentation including any work on the interpleader? A: Moran has refused to turn over any documents pertaining to CMKM Diamonds or the interpleader. The Company filed a complaint with the Nevada Bar Association that included compelling evidence and documentation of misconduct by John T. Moran III. The Bar Association declined to even open a file on the complaint. To our knowledge, other than a 2 page document that Kevin West put together for the interpleader, the Company has no evidence that ANY other work was conducted on behalf of the Company in regards to the interpleader. B. 17. I would love to know the real deal on the interpleader filing. Yes or No. Somehow, this important agenda item disappeared off the radar. A) The Interpleader was supposed to be worked on, completed and filed by former CMKM Corporate Attorney, JT Moran lll in late 2006 and into early 2007 before Mr. Casavant signed the Company over to me. Mr. Moran refused to turn over company files to me. I filed a grievance with the State Bar of Nevada on May 11, 2007 and included 150 pages of exhibits complaining of Mr. Moran’s refusal to render an accounting of his fees and to return to the company a copy of our records. This would have included any work that he did (or did not do) on the Interpleader matter. To date, the Company has not been able to obtain its file from Mr. Moran. On January 31, 2008, nearly 8 months after filing my grievance, I received a three paragraph letter from the State Bar of Nevada that simply said “there is no substantial evidence of professional misconduct by the attorney”. I have linked one of the last few email correspondences with Mr. Moran over this subject for your perusal, here. At this time, there is nothing to interplead. The Entourage certificate is held up in a court action as described in question # 1 above. I will continue my efforts to obtain our file from Mr. Moran so I can give you more information regarding the interpleade www.cmkmdiamondsinc.com/documents/moran_email_3-7-07.pdf So Moran says he is desirous of filing the interpleader NO LATER than March 9 2007. Kevin says ". I filed a grievance with the State Bar of Nevada on May 11, 2007 and included 150 pages of exhibits complaining of Mr. Moran’s refusal to render an accounting of his fees and to return to the company a copy of our records. This would have included any work that he did (or did not do) on the Interpleader matter." and this "8 months after filing my grievance, I received a three paragraph letter from the State Bar of Nevada that simply said “there is no substantial evidence of professional misconduct by the attorney”." After 8 months, investigating Moran AND 150 pages supplied by Kevin, the STATE BAR OF NEVADA says:“there is no substantial evidence of professional misconduct by the attorney”." Then this happens: gov.state.nv.us/PressReleases/2008/2008-01-18-MoranAppointment.htm

Jump to msg. # March 4th, 2009 by Mark Mitchell Speaking at a panel discussion in Australia this week, Zarinah Anwar, the chairman of the Malaysian Securities Commission, said that Asian emerging markets had learned an important lesson.
Following the Asian financial crisis in the 1990s, regulators in the region allowed short selling, but strictly enforced an uptick rule and a ban on naked short selling. As a result, Anwar said, Asian markets were better able to withstand this year’s market turmoil.
Anwar also spoke at length about “regulatory capture,” noting that in some countries government bodies were subject to influence from those whom they were supposed to be regulating.
Probably, she was thinking of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and it’s failure to stop the naked short selling that helped topple the American financial system.
How strange that everyone in the developing world seems to understand this issue, and the American media still does not have a clue.
