Do you not know anything about it?? You are coming on very strong here as a great guru who knows most, I say MOST, everything going on with CMKX!!! !! Then where is your "dd" of this case settlement of property being obtained in Clayton, Ga.--county of Rabun Ga.? Do you know that just a few miles south and a bit west in a city called Dahlonega Ga. is the place of America's 1st GOLD RUSH?? AND, did you know that there was a mint there? That the "TRAIL OF TEARS" was originated there to get rid of the Cherokee Indians because of the fact that "GOLD" was discovered there so they sent the Indians to Oklahoma?? Funny thing, CMKX acquires a few acres in Clayton, county of Rabun Ga. which is a hop, skip and a jump from those gold mines in and around "Dahlonega, Ga."! It is a fact, the north eastern mountains of the state of Georgia is loaded with gold which has never been properly mined--- NOW--all yours M/S!!--THANKS FOR LISTENING. So, CMKM Diamonds, may, or may not have any mines in Georgia.

At the risk of sounding a bit critical, why don't they file a suit to get Long Island back? Just a thought, Catdaddy

2bits didn't the Indians own all the land that everything in this country sits on at one time? I would have to think that if they haven't filed that suit yet then it's not going to happen. Does someone know the exact address, I'll go check it out (45 min from my house). I'll walk the property, if vacant, take pics of what's there and maybe do a little panning for gold myself if there is a place for that. Maybe I'll be the next UC and buy some old claims on the property next door if there are any to be had.

Clayton Georgia is about 5 miles up the road from Tallulah Gorge. These are pics off there website of the gorge and the area for anyone interested. If anyone needs a vacation to a nice quiet little spot in the mountians this is a great area for camping, hiking, biking, etc. Lake Burton, which is not far is an absolutely gorgeous lake that has all kinds of stuff to do. Lake Burton is also where many of the real rich in Atlanta have 2nd homes. So who knows maybe there is some gold in them thar hills! www.gastateparks.org/net/content/images.aspx?s=46.0.0.5

Well, to file suit, you must have "standing" that means in this instance; you must be a Cherokee Indian or a descendent of the tribe. i am not, but my children are. Their great-grandmother was half-cherokee indian...therefore, my children have standing to sue on behalf of the cherokee indian nation to recover the gold in that area, since they were the original owners of the land.
i haven't looked into the law, but i am fairly certain there are "treaties" in place that preserve the cherokee nation's rights.... the indians being true native-americans, over time, have been granted (by congress) many rights, exclusive to their tribes/nations. (Not unlike the First Nations tribes of Canada.)

Kody DIAMOND MINER Re: Weekly Buzz Chat 4/27 « Reply #36 Today at 10:42am »
Ines,
I must say I was a little annoyed at Richy's latest MP3. With all the big news he said was due last week and all the guarded anticipation he created. On yesterday's MP3 he was joking and having a great time and barely mentioned last week's failure. Now he's saying this week. Good grief! I hate to say it, but I would bet my life's savings (or what's left of it) that NOTHING will happen this week. Period. NOTHING. Richy's a very likeable good ole boy with the down home speech patterns and poor grammar..."appears" to be sincere, but I don't trust anyone with "news" anymore. Kody

alrich DIAMOND MINER Estimating Damages Securities Fraud Cases « Thread Started Today at 11:04am » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.cornerstone.com/services/xprS....etail&service=8 www.cornerstone.com/files/Publica....aud%20Cases.pdf 737man DIAMOND MINER Re: Estimating Damages Securities Fraud Cases « Reply #1 Today at 12:57pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alrich, damages determined during securities trading fraud litigation seemed to always be 'price oriented' ie driven into the ground, price-wise, for cheap covering and damage assessment. If real assessments of pricing were used when determining damages, the world market would collapse trying to cover and pay damages against the 'hurt shares and their prices'. I watched my pissant portfolio disappear in value through many R/S's, cellar boxing and manipulation all in advance of a systemwide settlement maybe, using much depressed values of share prices. Please don't ask why I think a 'general settlement' will or has occurred; just a guess and it just fits in with the tsunami losses, regulation change and financial system change happening...and the giant sucking sound of cash flowing out of the FED into the black hole of nothingness...and jmo of course.
