Well I think I can answer this one..... Back in appx 2004 the RUMORS were flying in Paltalk (Sterling's Room, I believe) that CMKX & Emerson were connected to the Koch Industries group of companies.... I called Koch Industries to try and verify this rumor..... A very helpful secretary connected me to the personal assistant of either Charles or David Koch (don't remember whichnow) but it was verified that there was NO Emerson in the family nor involved with the company... They never heard of him. fwiw..... that's what I was toldBy: faithandlogic Koch Industries Inc. « Thread Started Today at 8:09pm » www.kochind.com/files/CanadaFacts09-2008.pdfCould this be the same people who own 1010 with Emerson Koch? Notice at the bottom of this page they own companies in two areas familiar to us.. In Alberta they have four companies one is called Koch Exploration Company, and in the Saskatchewan area they have listed Koch Fertilizer Canada Ltd. Koch companies have a presence in nearly 60 countries and employ about 80,000 people. With more than $110 billion in revenues, Koch Industries is the largest private company in America according to Forbes magazine. See if you can connect the dots.. That is if there are any to connect..

How do we know that Overstock got paid out for their NSS? Is that out in the news or just a rumor?

(this assumes, of course, that urban is innocent and has been working with the SEC to fix things.) if you are willing to accept that assumption then you have to ask yourself why URBAN hasn't picked up the phone and told the SEC that everything has gone on too long.
why not? even if the SEC threatens urban with jail wouldn't you think he could counter their threats with a threat of his own? wouldn't he simply say that he has all the documents and will be more than happy to stand before a federal judge with the press corp in attendance while he carefully lays out the history of how the SEC has abused 50,000 investors.
so, if you want to assume he has some leverage then why hasn't he used it? the answer may be that he doesn't have leverage.
and if you want to assume urban is guilty, then the counter question becomes, then why hasn't the SEC hauled his fat assss off to jail after all this time?
something ain't right, folks, and we're the ones being made to suffer the consequences.

I bet that over the years it's the work of two or three people screwing with the peeps. There may have been a couple copy cats along the way but my guess is two or three working together to promote the hoax upon the peeps. I bet these guys are just laughing their asssssses off every time they pull the pump and the peeps get all beside themselves with 'cash is coming', 'it's almost here', 'it's done', 'checks in the mail', 'wrapped up'! You can always tell the pump is on when posters like ivory, MQ and the likes of moaner show up in force all giddy. Then when the pump fails to come true they run and hide like scalded monkeys with their tails between their legs until the next guru pump that they fall for. It's happened dozens and dozens of times over the past five years. It's just so funny to watch! Here's what you need to remember.. The SEC sued the insiders for fraud. www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2008/lr20519.htm CMKM fraudulently issued hundreds of billions of shares of purportedly unrestricted stock Hakala said she knows of no trusts or cash for the shareolders. Tyler said CMKX was a scam and there is no cash anywhere. Cory Gear was a investigator hired by the peeps and he said CMKX was a scam and could find no evidence of any cash. What more do you need to know? I will tell you that the chances of CMKX to ever trade again is about ZERO! Ergo, all the gurus are liars and frauds. End of story! Jump to msg. # Beav', haven't YOU learned anything here or is what has really happened beyond YOUR comprehension?
Urban was sued by the SEC! Urban snubbed his nose at the court and didn't even bother to show up since he knew they are powerless to issue a summary judgment against him.
Do you see DOJ indictments? I don't see any indictments. If this was the obvious scam and you mere board posters have had the entire scheme laid out for 5 years now, why can't you convince the guys with handcuffs of that? This obvious case shouldn't take 7 years. There's much more complicated cases than this one already settled. You're the one of lamest scambusters ever if you can't even get a simple arrest in an obvious case like this one effected.
You rant on this board. Where are your rants at the enforcement people for their neglect of your presentation of the crime? Where are your reminders to them that they are repeating their Madoff fiasco by doing nothing with the CMKX fiasco, which you and your comrades have so clearly exhibited?
Where have you expressed outrage toward the judge for blissfully forgetting to issue the summary judgment against UC? Why don't you do some constructive ranting for once in your life? LOL!

Jump to msg. # i broke, a number of people have been predicting over the YEARSSSS that we would trade again. if we don't trade again then there must be some other reason we've had people here day in and day out bashing the craaapp out of cmkx. trading again provides an explanation for their behavior.
or,,,,
it could be some revokable rights allowing us to buy into a new stock that these people don't want us to buy.
or,,,,
well, you get the idea. something has to offer an explanation why someone would be here working this board for so many years. and trading again makes good sense, in part because it allows us to fix things using market mechanisms. however, like you say, if the system isn't fixed then we'll just get naked shorted back to helll and everything will be the same. so, maybe things really are going to get fixed? but i don't see that yet.
cash? well, maybe. and if we are to buy something using a revokable right then they better give us some cash otherwise no one is going to be able to afford to buy even a small piece of a new company.
what will the new company be,,,,? maybe cim. there are those rumors too. and they have been pretty consistent about it being cim, or at least cim playing an important role. so, i'd say cim is a good guess.
but,,, all of that is just endless guessing.
hopefully, MQ3 is right and we're getting news this week or next. let's hope it is news worth waiting for. i'm tired of waiting for news only to get some lame-assss story about something that doesn't make one bit of difference for us.

Jump to msg. # Just maybe, I mean maybe, the whole thing about the CIM dividend was to give investors a shot knowing what was happening with CMKX. Maybe that was the idea to catch the shorts and co criminals. Ah sounds like logic, that doesn't work here and that gives too much credit where none is deserving. It would be nice, as I have said over the years I believed this would trade again and I always belied it would be with CIM. As with anything else with this continuous crap is wait and see. I don't know, 2010 was mentioned years ago and now it is closer than one would have thought back when it was mentioned. Perhaps it has to do with legal limitations, who can guess.

Jump to msg. # fiddle, so you're thinking is cim "might be" the vehicle used to trade again. and all current cmkx shareholders are sent a little settlement money along with instructions and form to buy a certain amount of additional shares of cim based on each person's current holdings in cmkx. that way every cmkx shareholder get a chance to buy into the new company. everyone gets a little cash and everyone gets the choice to spend some money to buy the new IPO (cim) or not.
while i don't think it is necessary to send us settlement money for this thing to work, it strikes me that they do have to send investors some money if they expect to get any of them to buy up cim shares, and to help generate enthusiasm in the marketplace for the new cim stock.
it seems reasonable.
now, i guess the new cim will also contain a part or all of the naked short, right? and if so, then shorty is going to be forced to buy those shares up and kill them. right?
maybe that's why the rumor was that they only handed out half of the 40 billion cim shares when they passed out the divy? remember, people couldn't figure out how many were distributed? some were saying we had received only half our cim divy.
well, this makes some sense if we assume there was a naked short equal to the OS. in other words, remember when people were saying the cim divy showed the total shares out equalled 1.4 trillion. 700 billion legit shares and 700 billion shorts.
and they handed out 20 billion cim shares to the 700B legit shareholders and held back the other 20 billion because they would be used when we eventually returned to trading. they needed the second 20B cim shares to sell to cmkx shareholders. the naked short is still there and to satisfy the potential demand for cim shares they need all 40B shares. however, since the real cim OS is only 20B, when we head into the markets with 40B shares 20B are going to have to be bought and wiped off the books by the brokers.
and if they can put real value into CIM and the SEC stops naked shorting then i can believe MQ3's statement about the shares being worth $10. hell, yes.
