Yes, that is Oaks. Can't you tell by the love he usually happens to get around here?
I just listen and see what happens as things happen. If he happens to be right, no-one would hate him for that. Iinformation sometimes happens to travel the backroads. We'll be happy when it finally happens. So, we should be glad if Oak happens to be the one who is first to say, I told you so.

Class Action Attorney Suing Largest U.S. Banks Files FOIA Request to Find Out Whether Banks Wrongly Influened Federal Reserve Posted on: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 10:41:27 EST Symbols: NCC, C, WFC, JPM Washington, D.C., Feb 24, 2010 (PRNewsChannel.com via COMTEX) -- Because in its estimation proposed rules changes in banking law would adversely impact consumers, a national class action firm suing large banks that received federal bailout money today asked for access to all documents and information that led to the proposed changes and suggested that the banks and/or their lobbyists may have wrongfully influenced the rules changes. "The Federal Reserve Board of Governor's proposed changes to Regulation Z... do little to make the rules any more fair to consumers and, in many ways, are even more one-sided in favor of banks and against the interests of American homeowners," writes Jay Edelson, managing partner at Edelson McGuire, which represents hundreds of homeowners in class action lawsuits against Citibank (NYSE: C | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and National City (NYSE: NCC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). The clients are located throughout the U.S. The FOIA requests all written materials including letters, emails, faxes, text messages, telephone messages, gifts, notes received or sent by any member of the Federal Reserve Board. The FOIA also seeks all information and documents relating to "any 'consumer testing' conducted as part of the Federal Reserve Board of Governor's review or consideration of home-secured credit rules of Regulation Z or the proposed rule changes." The firms attorneys have been recognized as leaders in these fields by state and federal legislatures, national and international media groups, the courts and their peers. They have testified before the United States Senate on class action issues and have repeatedly been asked to work on federal and state legislation and policy issues involving banking, cellular telephony and consumer privacy. Their attorneys have appeared on hundreds of national and international television and radio programs to discuss their cases and class action and consumer protection issues more generally. Their class settlements are collectively worth over one billion dollars and have changed the consumer protection policies of numerous industries. Why are we listening to Oaks? He is a complete BS'er Enough, I do not disagree with you but on some level I feel sorry for Oaks. He reminds me of that retired athlete that just can't stop trying to be in the spotlight. Instead of having his day in the sun, even if not so spectacular, and then fading away gracefully. Oaks is trying to capture the moment of grandeur that he believes he enjoyed. We all loved hearing from Oaks when we believed he was giving us GOOD information but now we know that he was merely a pawn like the rest of us. The only person that does not see the situation clearly, is Oaks. I do not bid him any ill will, it's just that his pompous delivery is a bit hard to swallow.

ptrk99........your ''blue ' is almost impossible for my old eyes to read.
I think Oaks see 's as 'clearly' as you or me.
Oaks always recognized he only knew what he was told.
Oaks was aware of the " built in" doubt surrounding all statements.

My only point was this, yes it's called respect and I just notice on a rather regular basis twolilfish is always being disrespectful and degrading someone at all times. We are all in this together and anyone who doesn't agree that it's the government that is the bad guy along with the financial institutions and not each other, the better off we will be. I just wish you would stop taking a aggressive approach to hardworking investors instead of being encouraging.
It's time to stop this elementary approach to shareholders, if your not working for the bad side then you wouldn't be having such a aggressive attitude to someone who has trusted the likes of IBM, Urban and his team, it's one thing to get frustrated at this getting drawn out but that is only being done by our government, not the shareholders.
I apologize for being upset with you twolilfish but come on give it a rest.
Don

Guys! If you are going to continue this pissing contest, then get it off of this board, period. Either do it via the PM, call each other on the phone, do it on an e-mail account or just agree to meet somewhere and dook it out. But, get it off of this board. Catdaddy

Or just create another thread. Plz keep it off the rumor thread. I personally, when I see "new" by the rumor thread, I look forward to something, anything but not this juvenile name calling. Get a chatroom or trade im's and duke it out there. Please don't use this thread.
Thank you
