A lot of negativity this morning, please don't get down, yes it could take years, keep in mind Bernie Madoff was tiny compared to this and his trial didn't take years.
If, and I mean if this hits the courtroom, it will receive massive coverage and I highly doubt if a judge or should I say the defense doesn't want this to drag out, the longer this drags out the more the SEC gets bad publicity and looks terrible.
I still say this fall this will be over if not sooner.
This is just my opinion

Oh, and bye the way, get a copy of this to all media outlets, push hard for coverage of the biggest fraud in wall street history.
Read the new book "Fraud in the markets" by Peter Goldman and then tell me this is not the biggest ever. This book will also give you some background of why and where Obama and his administration is going with financial reform.
As of right now, the whole world needs to know of this court document that says we are going to court.
PRESSURE, PRESSURE, PRESSURE!

hxrider,
Why don't you enlighten me on why that statement is not true.
And no I'm not kidding.

Ok look at the dollar amount on the madoff now look at what we got ripped off for that is apples and oranges and not a opinion. Lets see I have 25M shares and I'm going to get millions for my shares? IMO not going to happen. If you are talking about the AH lawsuit that is bigger but that has not been proven for one and the 3.7T number means nothing it's just a number.
This is a rumor thread so you don't need proof but if I got my money back I would feel lucky anything more would be a bonus. Trading again would make me very happy.

Your missing the point and I don't understand why your so adamant about arguing this point. If your happy getting your just your money back that's your right, not mine pal.
This is about NSS fraud, not a ponzi scheme, you don't know the dollar amount of the total shares shorted DO YOU? some people paid more than others, so how can you say it's not a big dollars value? Everyone in this stock knows including you that this is the largest fraud in terms of NSS in the history of Wall Street.
So again what's your point here? I'm sure if you want to just get your money back you would have told your broker that a long time ago and he would have gladly done it for you.
Why are you still here if that's all you want is your money back? why would you waste 5-7 years of your life following this if this is your stance?
Have you ever heard of RICO? and can you tell me what that is? Yes, we are going to get more than what we invested, trust me, if you don't like it, then don't follow the boards. Plain and simple.
I think the board is sick and tired of the negativity some bring. Quit whining! When this is over we will see who is right and who is wrong.
And bye the way, I was talking about the timeframe, not so much the dollar value.
I won't be responding to you anymore.
Good luck to you.

That's OK that you don't want to respond because I wasn't asking and in no way was my post rude that isn't the way I do things. Yes I would like to have my money back some day and more if possible. Why don't the shorts if they need shares so bad call on the cert holders to buy them? Mine can be had for a price. I'm ridding free anyway not by choice but when we had the run up I was needing money so I sold and bought back some shares.
My point is we have nothing in-till something happens with the court system or we start trading again. Yes things our moving and at a slow pace with no guaranties on the outcome.
IMO I don't think the world revolves around CMKX like so many do but that is what is so great about this board you can have a opinion and last I checked it was OK.
I listen to people bash frizz and KW but IMO if they hadn't taken things over we would not be here at this time and I believe in them. I will do what I like with my shares and have never asked for advice so I don't think I need any.
Madoff was big bucks but not complex like CMKX so it remains to be seen what happens. LOL and where do you see I was whining? Negative? No and last I checked I didn't ripe on you for the hype.

Two things that truly keep my going and my spirits up:
1) I trust Urban is out for the good of the shareholder and he still hasn't been arrested.
2) I got to believe IBM had a plan B,C,D,E,F and how ever many it takes to get a checkmate. IBM never lost against the government.
I think Mr. Hodges is the plan that puts the cherry on top.

I guess no one told the two opposing legal teams, the court docket filing department, the judge and the federal courts in California because we are on the docket for a court battle, so yes we wil see the inside of a court room.
Whatever AH has told the defense team they are not intimidated because they would have not gone forward and accepted the trial phase so lets hope AH has some true ammo and this is not a bluff? Of course AH could be holding back the strong evidense as any good attorney would but the procedureal process will take at least the remainder of the year IMO.

I don't think Al is bringing a slingshot to a gun fight. I'm pretty sure that Al was next to IBM in our last court appearance. Not sure if that's true, but I thought I heard that back then.
I'm sure IBM's presence will be felt during this. Or I mean his evidence will be present.
This will be interesting no matter what happens, I just hope it gets media coverage.
Don, IMHO!
