And in addendum to my earlier post, the video was well done and informative. Thank you for all that you have done.

How many non CMKXers are going to pay serious attention to this? Is it more than just a spirit video to get us pumped about our own situation?

3bid. Not whining. Just a professional opinion from a guy who spend 15 yrs behind the camera, producing, directing and editing video for PBS, USAF and Kohler Company, a multi-billion dollar company. Then you had best wear very dark glasses and thick ear muffs while viewing. I'm with ya there. However, despite being unacceptable to personal tastes or below professional standards, the message deserves to survive with credit to those who work to support us.
It's an easy leap to criticize and label amateur talent /effort on imperfections. And, what's the point? We would likely find another thread, driven down by opinion -- professional or otherwise -- into the mud.
-3bid for coming attractions...

I feel the movie was well done in the fact that it told the story adequately regarding what took place along with many specifics etc. What I did not understand is why those in the video were wearing ball caps and sunglasses (absolutely no disrespect intended) to make their point. Possibly they were wearing the attire they were wearing was to illustrate that we or many of the cmkx shareholder base are from the middle class and just ordinary folk/investors. Having said that IMHO I feel that although the documentary movie would have made more of an impact had it been made with business or semi-casual dress while speaking. Not a major factor I guess but none the less I feel it is something to consider for the next documentary (if necessary) just my opinion. I also humbly suggest the script scrolling through the film be more user friendly as I for one found it difficult to read at various times because of conflicting background scenes etc.
Could I do a better job "no absolutely not" and I commend the people in the movie as well as those behind the scenes for making it in the first place and getting the word out there for all to see. Our story is being told/heard and to me that is a very positive step in the right direction no matter how it is presented. It just could use some genuine tweaking to add validity in my estimation.
That being said I feel IMHO we have fired the last shot across the bow of the bad guys to let them know what is coming next which is the damming evidence they paid $ 3.87 Trillion dollars to prevent 3-4 years ago. I personally cannot see this going to the 19th Aug. filing by Al Hodges simply because it will then become public knowledge/domain .......the very thing the bad guys wanted to prevent. The fact that they paid the funds admitted their guilt so to me it would be a slam dunk in the judicial system with our cause winning hands down. I anxiously await news from Al Hodges in the next few weeks announcing victory and our Financial receipt/release prior to the "hammer" coming down on the head of the guilty parties involved.
In closing my personal thanks for all involved in the making of the documentary movie getting the word out and pushing our cause a step closer to the finish line.
Cheers & Good luck to us all !

Just a hunch... www.google.com/images?q=michaelmooreBut the part towards the beginning about the SEC FOIA Exemption NOT being in the Senate's version nor the House's version of the bill, IF TRUE, is very VERY intriguing...

dzoldnuts, I've spent 9 yrs writing letters, networking and looking for a way to help this finish well. Someone else can carry the torch for a while. I walked away from that business in 1990 after 15 yrs of doing top shelf work. Aside from dabbling in a little still photography now and again, I have not picked up a camera, since. And my life is immeasurably better as a result. My life is Financially, emotionally and physically in another stratosphere from when I was working even at the best Video job in the state. It is a nasty back stabbing deceitful business, filled with wannabes scrambling to get noticed and willing to work for nothing to get there. Made even worse now, by the addition of the ability to shoot HD quality video with a $1,500 DSLR camera rig, a computer and a $50 piece of software. When I was doing it, decent equipment required $100k up front, just to be able to roll tape. I never was any good at committees and doing high quality video is always working by committee. Your product is always, only as good as its weakest link. I wish you luck and encourage you to do what you can. I will give you a few pieces of free advice. FIRST: Put that d*mned camera on a tripod. I realize it's all in fashion to go hand held in an attempt to do cinema verite'. But this is not drama and you are discussing complex concepts. Distracting the viewer with a shaky hand held camera is not helping. Invest in a good sennheiser mic set and find someone who knows how to do audio. Your message will be lost if the audio sucks. www.sennheiserusa.com/homeScript it all. Build the show in your head first. Story board it. Shoot it, edit to the script. Because if you don't have a game plan to work from, you don't have any idea whether something spontaneous will fit, work well or not fit. Shoot 10:1, 20:1, tops. If you can't get it in 20:1, change gears. Replace whoever is keeping you from getting it done on budget. Richard Keane may be excited and earnest and dedicated to making a difference. But his on air presence sucks. Find someone who can coach him and get him to do it right. He's got a decent guy next door face. He's got a soothing, almost elegant voice. But fix him. He is obviously a rank green amateur. As I've said privately elsewhere. I don't know what the story is with this Mohr chick, but she seems to be striving for a professional life and I am simply amazed she put her name on Stock Shock. That is all I have to say on the matter.
