What I don't understand, if indeed the SC has ruled to release funds as rumored, then why is that not referenced anywhere, and why is any further court action necessary?

The SEC has the worst name in the public right now and cannot afford to get any more bad news to damage its name ..why doesn't AH drop the hammer on this and get it done with? I feel that he continues to dance aroudn the issues being nice..

Robert Maheu was only one of the Maheu's involved in our case, right? So while he may have passed...what makes anyone think the firm isn't still on it?
As for payment, when rendering the penalty could t-notes have been a solution to insure payment in full? If so, could a 5-year note been permissable? If so..would we not be at the end of the 5 years?

What I really don't understand is... Why didn't IBM do something to get our funds to us after it was collected..? When did he pass away..? Maybe just because there were no funds?

Again, why is a smart man like Al Hodges doing this for...? In the business for 40 years and then one day.. Hey. I think I'll try to get some of my CMKX money back.. That don't cut it..

Got to be something there or we wouldnt be here.... none of this would be going on... but that is just my opinion because we have no facts...we could very well be sitting here come 2011 in the same boat...the circus keeps rollin! We are here because 7 plaintiffs sought out and somewhat hired Al Hodges to file what "they" the "plaintiffs" think has happened.

Hodges sought out 7 individuals to serve as plaintiff's (criteria unknown, at least to me) for a suit of his own origin. Ed

Here is a pretty good article on the SEC it's from March but there are some items mentioned that are similar to our case... -Negotiating what became known as the "global settlement" -Did Mary Schapiro know that the SEC was going to join the industry in court in an effort to undo the settlement? -What other settlements has the SEC tried to modify and why? -What enforcement actions, if any, did the SEC bring under the "global" settlement? -Why has the SEC not sought to obtain, and then make public, the e-mails from AIG that would shed light on the entire series of transactions that led to the debacle of AIG's failure? www.slate.com/id/2249403/

Eliot Spitzer, Excellent! Little wonder he got taken down as NY Gov. Wall Street hated him with good reason.
