I am looking at working on a project (non-CMKX related) and would welcome some feedback from military family members or friends on what they worry, think, pray, are concerned about, etc when their husbands, wives, sons, daughters, moms, dads, friends are away from home on duty, etc. I don't need a long response...Just would appreciate a sentence or two, maybe a favorite saying, quote, verse that you rely on when you're thinking about them. No need to give up personal info...general terms are fine. Thanks in advance of your help! pr

The most important thing of all; is they come home and in one piece. I used to tell my Son to keep his head down and stay strong!!

I knew my father for over 38 years, and only found out recently that he was killed in Vietnam. He just happened not to have died there.

Don't ever forget those that never came home!

You worry more about what they can't control, then what they can. I always felt confident in my abilities and those of my friends and teammates to come home safely. It's the randomness of war that worried me and my buddies. The random hip fired bullet that had no business hitting anyone. The random mortar that wasn't even aimed, etc.
