Bagley and Casavant are claimed to be deceased. Edwards has yet to be extradited. Vissokovsky has yet to be found, or so it is said. But the case need not have all defendants present to move forward nor is it apparent that they need to re-write the complaint to adjust for the changes in defendant list. They were all a part at its initiation. Nothing has changed in a long time...which adds to the wonder of why this keeps getting moved further out.

It is not the DOJ asking for Continuances. Defendants keep asking for more time to prepare for an expected 4 month trial. The newest Judge wasn't even prepared yet. The Turino Discovery just issued to defendants is 100,000 pages alone on 3 disks. That's just the DOJ's against 1 defendant. Each defendant has to produce & exchange through their attorneys, all their own Discovery to each other, about each other, as well as the DOJ.

Every one of them & the DOJ want Edwards here if they plan to go to trial because he helps their defense & case.

Edwards left the country before Indictments came out, when there were no charges. He is central to the case & worth the wait, in which the DOJ has no control or jurisdiction in the UK. Even IF he gets here shortly, it's unlikely the Judge will accept a plea from him, without requiring US tests if he's fit for trial, unless the Judge welcomes a mistrial or appeal. imo expect another trial date change even if he's mentally fit as a fiddle. Edwards would need time to prepare for trial.

I don't say that Al's evidence as to what was going on with the sting will be presented, but if that dictated the actions of at least some of the insiders, would they not want to call that into evidence? Would the SEC, et al, not want that evidence presented in court?

The real question here might be if Al feels he needs further leverage in getting us paid. IMO

You make an excellent point here. If Al really has the goods, he might very well be to the point of wanting to bring some of the info to a deposition. It just depends on what legal constraints he might have (if any).
