First let me say that I am still a believer, I am certain that someday, sometime there will be a return from this investment.
However, I have reached the end of my ability to keep swallowing my thoughts on the way it has been done.
This ‘august’ body of shareholders have supported this ‘company’, and UC on a more personal level, not only with their funds, but with their very lives and the lives of their loved ones . All one has to do is read these boards over the years to know those who have fallen along the way.
While life has a way of dealing some rough road occasionally, the problems here were aided and abetted by out and out thievery of the most common kind. Had this stock just been allowed to progress along its normal course, many of those that fell (illnesses, lost homes nd family members) would at the very least have had a better chance to deal with lifes ups and downs and perhaps a little better life for their remaning years.
No stock in the history of the world has had the amount of excellent DD done as this one has, so this was not a matter of making a bad investment , or investing that which one could not afford to lose, as the holier-than-thous like to preach. This was a case of robbery on a grand scale. No different than the thug in the alley with a gun.
The worst crime of all was perpetrated by the disregard shown to the steadfast shareholders over the last several years by management all along the way, up to and including the present time. We have now been waiting for ‘years’ for UC to just say, “Hey, I’m still here and on your side.”
We have all wanted to see the clean-up in the market and to make everything right for the future, but in the end the bad guys, for the most part, just take their golden umbrella and retire with their ill-gotten gains to their respective hideaways and none of this long drawn out affair has bought ahy beans or paid a single house or car payment in a single shareholder home.
No matter what comes of this, one day “soon”, no one of us has deserved the treatment we got from UC, or any of the rest of those involved, through this seemingly never-ending ordeal.
I salute you, one and all, but I for one do not forgive easily.
Be well,
