United Uranium Corp. Announces 2008 Exploration Program
SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - Jan. 8, 2008) - United Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:UUC). The Company is pleased to announce exploration programs for 2008.
A winter program of diamond drilling is planned on the South Bear project located within the Athabasca Basin near its eastern margin. The property has both radiometric and geochemical anomalies and has not been previously drilled. This drilling is aimed at exploring the potential for a high grade "unconformity type" uranium deposit. Government of Saskatchewan reports state that the 30 deposits discovered to date in the Athabasca Basin contain a resource of 587,000 tones of U at an average grade of 1.97% U.
A program of overburden drilling and ground geophysics at our Peace River-Buffalo Head Hills diamond joint venture (50% United Uranium Corp., 50% Star Uranium Corp.) in Northern Alberta is scheduled to start in late January. Samples obtained from the drill cuttings will be analyzed for kimberlite indicator minerals and the results will be used to locate any kimberlite pipes on the property. A follow-up program likely involving diamond drilling will take place later in the year. The Peace River-Buffalo Head Hills property is located 70 km to the southwest of the Diamondex/Shore Gold JV cluster of kimberlite pipes.
In the Fort a La Corne area east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, United Uranium Corp. has a number of claims in a 50/50 joint venture with Star Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SUV). One kimberlite pipe was discovered several years ago and some drilling was carried out. Further work on these properties is planned for the summer of 2008. At the moment, 25 of the claims are in legal limbo because of a dispute with Shore Gold, as referenced in the Company's press release dated January 4, 2008.

Shane Resources Ltd. Announces 2008 Exploration Program
SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - Jan. 8, 2008) - Shane Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SEI). The Company is pleased to announce exploration programs for 2008.
Diamond drilling of the Brownell Lake property is planned for February and March. Previous work has outlined an extensive zone of copper-zinc mineralization. The geological setting of this mineralization suggests a volcanic-associated massive sulfide environment.
Shane Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SEI) land position in the Fort a La Corne diamond play was increased in late 2007 and plans are to carry out a limited overburden till sampling program with the objective of locating previously undiscovered kimberlite pipes.
Shane Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SEI) has two properties in the Laonil Lake area in close proximity to the Seabee Mine owned by Claude Resources. Since going into production in 1991, the Seabee mine has produced over 775,000 oz of gold.
Prospecting, along with ground geophysics are planned on the Monroe Lake Joint Venture (WesCan Goldfields 51%, Shane Resources 49%) where WesCan Goldfields is the operator.
The Don's Lake (Pine East) joint venture (Claude Resources 75%, Shane Resources Ltd. 25%) lies 5 km east of the Seabee mine. Drill programs to the end of 2006 revealed mineralization in moderately steep west plunging shoots hosting intercepts of 23.88 grams per tonne over 3.74 metres and 12.16 grams per tonne over 8.43 metres. Plans have been made for a 6 hole drill program totaling 1500 metres during 2008. Claude Resources is the operator of the project.

A 3 hole drill program at the Stony Rapids property is scheduled to begin in mid-January. The project is located within the Athabasca Basin along with its northern margin and has both geophysical conductors and geochemical anomalies which will be tested.
A 6 hole program is scheduled for February at our Collins Bay property which is located several km east of the Northeast Southwest trend which contains the Rabbit Lake, Collins "A", "B", and "D", as well as Cameco's Eagle Point Mine. The property is under part of Wollaston Lake and the drilling is aimed at exploring the potential for an "Eagle Point" type uranium deposit.
Exploration drilling of the Pardoe Lake property is scheduled to start in late February. It is located east of the Way Lake property of JNR Resources where high grade pitchblende has been found in outcrop. The Pardoe Lake property has two untested EM conductors trending northeast which were identified by a 2006 airborne VTEM survey.
