- A Final Note to Urban Casavant
by Pastor DeWayne Reeves
Dear Urban,
It has been now been over 3 years since I first requested that you hold yourself accountable to the shareholders of CMKM Diamonds. Your refusal crossed from private to public knowledge with this Press Release -
Christian Traders Requests Interview With CEO Urban Casavant Of CMKM Diamonds Inc. - CMKX, Prior To Appearing On "World Business Review"
There is no shame in failure Urban. Many great men have attempted to succeed in business and have failed. Ben Franklin went bankrupt 5 times before he found success. The shame comes with blatant disregard for the tens of thousands of investors who trusted you with their very lives.
It is no secret that while many of your shareholders were losing their life savings, their homes, their businesses, their marriages and even in some cases their lives, you were living large and having the time of your life. Not only is it no longer a secret, it is now also a matter of public record.
Was it worth it Urban?
Were the fast cars, $$$$, card games, and the fancy house worth all the broken dreams and shattered lives you left in your wake?
Again I will say, there is no shame in failure when a man puts forth his best effort, but you can not claim that can you?
Where are you Urban?
Where is the apology for all you have destroyed?
Will you spend the rest of your days hiding from shareholders and hiding from God? You may hide from shareholders and process servers, but you can not hide from God. No one can.
Not I, nor even you - the Urban Legend.
For many, it is already too late. But for you Urban there is still hope. There is still time before you face your creator, to come forward and address those who not only trusted you, but even loved you. They gave you all they had, can't you at least give them an apology?
Can't you at least allow them the opportunity to move on with their lives while there is still time?
We serve a just God Urban. I believe with all my heart that if you stand before him and repent with a broken and contrite spirit, not only will He forgive you, but I believe your fellow man will also.
How will history remember Urban Casavant?
It's all up to you...
Regards,
