An Attorney delivered this Letter I wrote to CEO Kevin West. I was informed Kevin received the letter.
Here is a copy...
CEO Kevin West,
Those of us who have spoken directly to you know you are concerned in accomplishing what you believe is in the best interest of the company and its Bona fide Stockholders. I sincerely feel that the fact you personally called shareholders demonstrates you do care.
I spoke to you twice. You took my call April 28, 2006 (28/04/2006 3:27:01 pm 00:21:09 0019035951921 USA 0.423) because Attorney Bill Frizzell was out of town. You also telephoned me April 19, 2007. Both times, you demonstrated your sincerity, concern, and your desire to do what is best for the shareholders and CMKM Diamonds. Both times, you graciously addressed my concerns. Both times, you left me feeling positive about the company and the direction the company was heading even though there are some major hurdles. Both times, with your approval and knowledge, I shared with the shareholders what we discussed. I felt your knowledge, transparency in what you could provide, and your attitude during these two calls, confirmed my belief that you are quite capable of getting the job done and running the company as the CEO. I made these observations be known to the shareholders on the message boards
As you know from experience, CMKX Stockholders have tried to understand and find out what is actually transpiring with their investment. The shareholders know that there are/were huge NSS/FTD. The shareholders know that there are measures and compensations to protect the victims of NSS/FTD. The shareholders know that they are fortunate to have on their side one of the most respected and powerful mediator in the country, Mr. Robert Maheu. The shareholders know just his presence alone, elevated the significance and importance placed on resolving the NSS issue and on distributing the assets to the Bona fide CMKX shareholders. Mr. Maheu stated to shareholders, “Working as a united front will allow us to extract all available sources of value for distribution.” The shareholders were assured Mr. Maheu is dedicated in accomplishing this distribution for all the bona fide shareholders by offering his assistance if requested and using the assistance of the local, state, and federal authorities if required.
The lack of confirmation and clarification from the CEO erode the confidence level of the shareholders. The contradictions diminish the trust. If the information is obscure because of the importance, sensitivity, and complexity of what is at stake, then state this. Stockholders understand. What stockholders do not understand is the lack of urgency, the lack of importance, and the lack of priority being conveyed by the company on this monumental counterfeiting issue.
Kevin, as the Chief Executive Officer, you have the authority and right to address these valid concerns of CMKM Diamonds’ most valuable assets, The Bona fide Stockholders of CMKM Diamonds, CMKI, CMKX, and CIM. Please exercise your right and authority and do what is right by making this right.
