It is funny how it went to the "checks in the mail" to the 14th and now apparently the 24th. And that is only in the last two weeks. People need to get a grip and stop listening to him.

By: jay_adobe 14 Aug 2007, 10:46 AM EDT Msg. 589047 of 589049 (This msg. is a reply to 589007 by rett_i_dass.) Jump to msg. # rett, 'Tis indeed a monumentally glorious day for not only CMKM Diamonds Inc shareholders, but for shareholders across the board(s).
Ponder this: If Mr. C was allegedly so hard to find in order to be served with legal papers, and named as such in a court of law, how can someone be paying him a personal visit, especially if he cannot be found? Couldn't they have served him as easy as they can visit him?
And what personal attorney would jeopardize his career and clientele base by handing over boxes of personal documents of one of his clients if that client hadn't given expressed permission for the lawyer to do so? Would not that lawyer be in serious trouble for handing over the documents?
Wouldn't it take a lawyer quite a while to process boxes of documents to create, out of thin air, a massive lawsuit alleging numerous wrongdoings, which supposedly all started from the boxes of incriminating documents that a personal attorney turned over with or without the permission of his client?
Dig through the early updates on the cmkmdiamonds website with a fine-toothed comb and you will be surprised to find what has or has not occurred lately, as promised.
I needn't say that this is my opinion, but this is imo, of course. - - - - -

But, the TRO works just fine if a person simply does not appear to defend himself - and the judge concludes that if he won't appear, then the restraint on assets is uncontested.
When it is truly needed for him to be in court, I believe his butt will be there - whether in cuffs or otherwise. ...and none of his shills, like Acca and Salvato and others will be able to protect him from that.

The way I understand it, his attorney (Liz baird???) received a request to send CMKX stuff to CMKX after UC resigned and KW was named.
She instructed a member of her clerical staff to send all appropriate stuff - and the clerk sent EVERYTHING. An honest goof, but with dire consequences for UC.

I guess there's talk from all the usual suspects of checks arriving through the mail.
Thinking cap time:
It's been more than a year since most received their requested certs. A lot could happen in that time. Specifically, folks might have sold their holdings.
With that in mind, ppl will have to RE-CONFIRM ownership before any money is paid out. It won't be a difficult process but it will be a NECESSARY one before any payment is made to anyone. First, the online circus around CMKX you speak of is hardly representative of the shareholder base. The real shareholders are ppl like my dad who bought a lottery ticket a couple of years ago and has treated it as such ever since. It's ppl like him who make up the real shareholders, not the 1000 or so fanatics we see here and on other boards.
The factions who you say are working the shareholders in different directions are pretty much irreverent . The delegation from Texas has been given the chance to be a bunch of heroes. Let's see what they do with it. Going quiet has been the smartest thing they've done since KW got the CEO position.
As for ppl who buy into the guru crap, that's their business. Most ppl are followers and most ppl consistently make the wrong choices in life. Maybe that's why SATs along with overall math and reading scores have been dropping steadily for the last 45 years, despite our government throwing TRILLIONS of dollars at education over that period. Maybe that's why American Idol is more popular than the PTA. Maybe that's why Americans are ridden with diabetes and obesity and God knows what else. Maybe it's because ppl just like to do the easy thing instead of the smart thing.
As for the shareholder base being squandered, it isn't. It's sleeping and there is about to be a BIG wake up call. Then all the ppl who have been flinging crap around for the last few years are going to want to sit in a big circle, hold hands, and sing We Are The World and other touchy feely songs… AMHO ......................................

There was a time that I let certain stuff here and elsewhere get to me. Then I adoped a few simple guidelines:
1. EVERYTHING on the boards is BS including my stuff. 2. Once in a blue moon #1 is wrong. 3. Figure out when 2 is the case but certainly don't get hypertension over it.
Works for me.
I really get a kick out of the ppl who feel outrage because some knucklehead is 'hurting' ppl with lies. I learned something a long time ago: No one can camp out in your brain without your permission.
Peace.
