Last time I looked it was nearly 67 million Americans. In fact, the majority of Americans voted for him.

The majority of the weak minded, young kids, government cheese taking, give me more nipple please crowd.. When asked on exit polls, the majority of voters knew nothing about the details, only that Barack was going to give them the left nipple to rely upon... Ohhh to be dependent on others, what a life! But I digress and will step away from my diatribe... I didn't vote for him.

If the president is holding our settlement back for political reasons, I hope it backfires. And I think it would. It just takes one question: If you had a chance to stimulate the economy, why did you hold it back?

John McCain. Good NAVY Man John McCain, pre presidential run was awesome. He was sucked back into the mainstream (which at the time was run by the authoritarian far right) republican party so that he wouldn't polarize himself from those said authoritarians. It was a huge gamble on his part, which I feel cost him the election. If he would have just stayed true to his principles that led him for so many years to be a moderate republican he would have won for sure. I was so ticked in 2000 when he pulled out of the primary before I had a chance to vote for him and then I had to watch W destroy our country for 8 years. I was then stoked again to get a chance to vote for him in 2008 when he won the reuplican primary (of which I couldn't vote in as I'm not registered with a party). Then to my dismay, he up and goes far right to appease the religious right and the authoritarian right.......I was and am so disappointed in his decision. That decision caused a ton of moderate republicans to jump ship to Obama as they were scared of what would come of this country if led by that type of crowd. Thank God the Republican party is starting to turn around and get back to it's principles. The extreme right wingers are still there (Tea Party), but at least the party I grew up supporting and have supported all my life is getting back to business. That said.......McCain lost my vote and many others with my political views vote when he went far right. so..............I voted for Obama. Now that said, I don't think he is doing a bad job as President. He is just a figure head. The real socialists and people running this country into the ground is congress and the extreme left wing crazy's that are in charge (ahem Pelosi). Here's to voting out encumbents of both party's and their incestuous relationships with lobbyists and big business. Here's to term limits to prevent these fools from continuing to ruin our country. Here's to the d*mn Tea Party going away so they don't steal votes from Republicans. Here's to a return of the true Republican Party that Barry Goldwater fought so hard to prevent the authoritarians from taking over and unfortuantely failed. Let's have a fresh view in Washington in 2010 and 2012.
