By: mdnj_38 09 Apr 2010, 05:25 PM EDT a poster oldno70 connected the dots here, Look how far we go back with Transfer Online' this just didn;t happen IMO' Click link to read entire excerpt..... www.faulkingtruth.com/Articles/Investing101/1028.html May 31, 2005 Mark Faulk Lori Livingston, President and CEO of Transfer Online, Inc., said in an interview with The Faulking Truth that the DTC and Market Makers are "perpetuating the entire scam against the companies and their shareholders, who are getting creamed". In her letter to the SEC, sent on Friday, May 27, 2005, she says, "As someone who has been in the transfer agent business for 23 years, I am alarmed by recent developments and trends that all work toward a system of increasing positions on the books and records of corporations in the name of Cede & Co. (nominee name for DTC). As the transfer agent for approximately 300 issuers, I am increasingly contacted by these companies as they seek information regarding the stock ownership in their companies and the underlying trading of those shares in the market." According to Livingston, "these are not pump and dump scams, many of these companies are legitimate companies whose shares are being manipulated through the buying and selling of counterfeit shares of their stock." In some cases, "'arrangements' are being made between brokerage firms to 'loan' shares from one broker to another to cover short positions at a reduced price," so that the broker who was short to begin with can then "replace the 'borrowed' shares on the open market, as they are able to beat the share price down."

I already have my certificate. Why do I need to transfer to this new agent? You would think Kevin can explain a little bit more in detail to those existing shareholders why we need to subscribe to this new TA. As President it would really nice to know more than relying on the attorney mr hodges for details (isn't this backwards?). We need to get Kevin to speak more than anyone else... Let's get some answers ?

If they need to get a hold of us everything would be up to date. If there is a name change in the company we could get new certs. I like it we our moving forward and yes slow but moving. Now they have my correct address they can send me a big check. LOL

Do they issue you a new certificate? My registering with the new TA how do I know I am not giving up my certificate? I am not a stock guru so don't understand...

The way I read it you input all the info you can so they can identify you if they don't have enough information then that can't happen. I'm waiting since I had no bar code like the rest I just gave the cert # and my last address.

I would think that still having physical possession of your certificate is the most important thing, so why worry about registering your ownership of it to make things even more official? Personally I find it comforting and reassuring to know that my cert is important enough to warrant a registration update. It is not as if anyone is asking you to mail away your certs.

How long does it usually take to approve? Are they working the weekend or closed? They found my shares really quickly. I registered around 2pm and went to work only to come home and find they sent me an e-mail at 4:29 stating "account management granted". They appear to really have it together, which is a relief.

Jump to msg. # tenn.. it seems to me that all of accounts will be managed thru these guys.. their site is secure.. and, I suspect, there will soon be a wealth of information on that site.. don't forget.. they have been with us since 05.. and were interviewed by Faulk before he became the interim Tyler CEO.. all planed and scripted.. IMHO.. so you register with them.. and give them your cert number.. so what.. you have the cert.. possession is 9 10'ths of the law.. and like mq always says.. documentation is.. (something, something.. ok, I forget).. lol

What is this about managing my account? I don't want anyone doing anything before talking to me. Am I just mixed up or could this detrimental?
Add An Account Transfer Online, Inc members can manage multiple accounts.
To add a shareholder account, issuer account, or other type of account to your member account, first select one of the following methods:
Method 1: Authorization Code: Verify authorization to manage the target account by providing an Authorization Code. If you have an authorization code (usually obtained from a proxy voting card, a letter sent from the issuing company or from Transfer Online, or provided to you by another member who is already managing the account) you may use it to gain immediate access to your shareholder, issuer, or other type of account. Method 2: Certificate Information: Verify authorization to manage the target account by providing a number from the actual certificate. If you have received a certificate in the mail from Transfer Online you may use the information found on that certificate to gain immediate access to your shareholder account. Method 3: Account Information: Verify authorization to manage the target account by providing information which may associate you with it. If you have neither an authorization code nor a physical certificate, you can provide us with general account information to gain access to your shareholder account. Our agents will review your request and respond to it, usually within 48 hours.

They send you a confirmation when they find your cert and verify your info so YOU can manage YOUR account. Right now, there's not much managing to do...unless we get paid through them or we trade again. IMO.

The TA is working OT. I registered Friday and did not get an account set up. I called the number they gave us and the message said they were closed Saturday and Sunday. Well, I just got my email and my account was set up today! I like this TA. If anything else Transferonline is a solid firm!
