Pretty d*mn good info ther LD... and I will take your word on it cause you are a Ubisoft man, are you not? A game programmer? The jetfighter pilot of programmers? Well, I am a "bit" of a gamer myself... but not so much of a programmer, though I thought I would be one day (stayed in construction for too long even after my CS degree cause I had my foot in the door... bad move on my part!) Hopefully someone will get this link (from LD) over to BH... Yeah, my mission here in the French Alps (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood) is almost complete. I'll be returning to the United States for 2 weeks to 1 month for training on audio programming and then be assigned to our Paris studio until around this time next year to finish another project - so its back to France for me - but instead of being in the "Hazzard County" of France I'll be in "Washington, DC" of France. I wouldn't call myself an exceptional programmer, just a regular programmer with the willingness to learn from those more experienced and pass on what I learn to others to bring them up. Its never too late to try, I can point you to some references if you have the time and desire to look into it, like Irrlicht, which is an open-source multi-platform game engine that is very well documented so anybody with some programming experience can "follow the trail" as to what is going on in the code. I love using the East Tec products. I've never had issues with a re-install of Windows or Linux if I use that first (boot it off of a DVD or CD disc) and do a destroy data and re-init all the bits to 0's.

anybody hear from BobH? Why is it so quiet.. we have been through "quiet before the storm" but this is just unbelievable.. Could this be the one? the silence is almost deafening.. hafizesh, this is from another board, today. Sugarpaw thanks john3339 « Thread Started Today at 2:59am » just learned: Robert's recent quietness is most likely due to computer issues. And to make it worse, he's also having Symantec's online techs working remotely on his computer (shudder). I've had that experience and it didn't turn out good! Anyway, Robert Hollenegg's computer activity may be a bit intermittant until the issues are resolved. He didn't direct me to post this...hope he's not upset...but I don't think there's harm in alerting the board to a reason he's been quiet recently. Get thy computer well Robert!!! john LMAO......he always has computer problems. I've never heard of anyone getting so many viruses. Hey Bob, as I know you are still lurking. Do these things and thy shall be free of viruses 1. free.avg.com/us-en/homepage2. www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html3. www.lavasoft.com/?domain=lavasoftusa.comThere are free versions of all those. Install them all and make sure the active coverage things are running for SBS&D and AwAware. Ditch the crap symantec and norton put out.....resource hogs and they are terrible. * Disclaimer - I still don't buy the constant virus attacks, but whatever. This stuff is easily protected......unless you are a cronic pRon surfer.

I like Bob, but I don't buy it. It's true. I just got off the phone with Manny telling me he helped Bob resolve the issues. It was a big mess.
I had my doubts, also.
