I have been involved with this stock since 2005. I have my paper cert in my hand, and I am registered with the transfer agent. I don't post much, but I read this message board several times a week. I don't get caught up in rumors, gossip or pi$$ing contest. But when I read..."While this cause was filed as a probable class action, no putative class has yet been certified given the early and unexpected dismissal of Plaintiffs' case by the court below" in a court document...Lets just say I am cautiously optimistic.
Now back to lurking. Good luck to us all!

As many have commented...This is very exciting!
However we need to keep pressing until we receive "The Package". Many dates have slipped in the past....
We need to continue with: - Supporting the voting for the online news source (Conservative News). Want to ensure they post an article about CMKX - If you believe in what gusjarvis is doing.....support his efforts. - If you are a part of the legal action out of Texas....keep pressing
Dont stop until we have crossed the finish line!

Mr. XXXX,
This case is assigned to AUSA Keith Staub who is on annual leave this week. In his absence, Mr. Hodges asked my consent to a 30 day extension of his time to file appellants’ opening brief and asserted that the shareholders, or perhaps the plaintiffs, would be paid, thus the case would become moot within thirty days and he would dismiss the appeal. I agreed that the government would not oppose such extension. That was the extent of my conversation with Mr. Hodges. I have not reviewed his filing in the Ninth Circuit.

Mr XXXX,
I told you all that I know in my prior message. If you wish more information you will have to speak with AUSA Staub next week. My only involvement was to consent to a routine request for an extension of the briefing schedule as I described. The court routinely grants such requests with or without the opposing party’s consent.

Just sent this to a good Lawyer friend.. He called me and said it looks like this should be over within the next 30 days.. We should be getting something...He really liked the AUSA involvement.. Looks good.. If you believe this then I may have to think this over again. It's about time you started thinking that this IS going to happen. If I was in front of you I would place my hand on a Bible and swear to God's Holy Name, that this IS going to happen friend.

My biggest concern with Hodges involvement in all this is that he may not be doing this for all boney fides but only the plaintiffs listed.
Going to be a lot of angry, pizzed off *unrepresented* shareholders then.
We shall see.

ty bikinipro... richerob Re: So we need to be paid by Aug 24th per extensio Reply #4 Today at 10:01am well lookie here: maybe a settlement is actually in the works.... John E. Nordin v) Appellant and Appellee are both in accord and have stipulated and agreed to join in this motion, thereby asking the Court to agree with the litigants and treat this matter as consensual, routine and appropriate. By telephone conference late in the afternoon of July 20, 2011, counsel for Appellees-Defendants (AUSA, John Nordin, Esq.) have agreed to join in and otherwise stipulate to Appellants' Motion. www.cacd.uscourts.gov/cacd/AttySe....2?O penDocument

Very positive update indeed!
Just curious of anyone's thoughts at to why Al gave them a 30 day extension this time and last time gave only 2 weeks? I don't know what's tied to what (cmkx payment, debt ceiling, dinar rv, etc) but another 2 weeks gets us past the Aug 2nd debt ceiling deadline.
TazGhost DIAMOND JEDI Re: Hodges Files for an Extension « Reply #68 Today at 8:50am »
Well mining,
My interpretation, is that Al consented to the extension, because the information he received a few hours prior to court time, indicated that all efforts are being made to conclude and settlement with SHs, now. He also believes it will be moot, which IMO he expects it to be done before the 30 extension deadline.. so (IMO) it could be now/anytime.
I must admit, I am very optimistic!...
