hundredtoone DIAMOND MINER Re: Bloomberg talking about "PHANTOM SHARES"...They said it again this time with a title and the date March 13...7,9, and 10 PM I think... Special Report: Phantom Shares Bloomberg Television premieres a half-hour Special Report called "Phantom Shares" on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 7:00pm, 9:00pm, and 10:00pm ET. Millions of shares of stock are being sold that may not exist. How? Through an obscure trading strategy known as naked short selling. Bloomberg Television's Special Report hosted by Mike Schneider explains what the strategy is, how it's executed, which companies are targets, and what the SEC is trying to do to control it. www.bloomberg.com/media/tv/...Flying Moose(MM board)

I beleive since this has gotten so big as to be on TV that there has to be a solution already in place. Just think about it if they tell the public that the MMs and Hedgefunds are robbing the investors and there's nothing they can do about it. That'll make the Wall Street regulators look as corrupt as they realy are to the public, so I beleive there has to be some type of market clean up strategy that will be aired along with the corruption story. Just my opinion.

This Tuesday Evening, March 13th at 7 or 7:30 PM: (unless it changes, I would ask to check Bloomberg's TV or Radio Web-site) .and I almost drove off the road this morning, when I heard the Bloomberg Financial Radio Announcer... (Radio Station: 1130 AM in the NYC area)... It was a direct and very clear Announcement: To be aired on Bloomberg Cable TV: "A special on Naked Short Selling and the creation of, and selling of, illegal & phantom shares of US Companies." "Included will be what some companies are trying to do about this illegal practice." I wonder if Bloomberg knows anything, either from Maheu or part of the Team..?? It might be good to let Kevin know about this also.....(Fish..??) Anyone able to record this next Tuesday Night, March 13th? Branfordjohn LINK to Bloomberg TV: www.bloomberg.com/media/tv/

Bloombrg "Phantom Shares" now on Digital Box Guide« Thread Started on Today at 2:45pm »
Information guide via my TV digital cable box now shows "Phantom Shares" airing at 4, 6, and 7 PM PDT (7, 9, and 10 PM EDT) on 13 March. (Cox Channel 254 on West Coast.)
Caption reads: "Naked short selling is a trading tactic that can drive down a company's stock price."
Since no other subject is mentioned for these time slots, seems like the thing could run a full hour instead of a half hour
