I'm having a hard time seeing how this benefits us 144r, other than to seal our fate in some cover story of insider corruption. They can sweep us under the rug after they pay us, I figure! Until then I want to hear that we are all going to court where all the cards are put out on the table...

I don't know why they refer to a status hearing previously scheduled for 12/31/14 when the most recent notice was for a status hearing on 1/7/15. Whether typo or indicative of two separate status hearings, this one has been moved. Note this one does not reference its purpose for determination of Edwards mental capacity to stand trial.

Edwards has been found "COMPETENT TO BE TRIED" !!! Very, good news according to Edwards' attorney who wants to withdraw as his legal counsel. Lack of funds for compensation. Richard Wright is turning his back on Edwards after all the business & money Edwards has thrown his way through all the years. Edwards will have to plead Indigent & receive a Criminal Justice Act attorney or pull some money out of somewhere & then explain where it came from. His wife hasn't been out of prison that long so she shouldn't have any whopping funds either. Should be interesting Johnny.
Here is the important part.
Case 2:09-cr-00132-JAD-GWF Document 303 Filed 01/21/15 Page 1 of 5
8. Mr. Edwards deteriorated significantly and suffers from dementia. I requested a competency evaluation for Mr. Edwards and in December, 2014 the evaluation was completed with a determination that he is competent to be tried.
9. I have not received any payment for my legal representation of Mr. Edwards for the past five months. Mr. Edwards currently owes Wright Stanish & Winckler $18,503.30. 10. Mr. Edwards is unable to pay for his legal representation and cannot fulfill his obligation to Wright Stanish & Winckler. I personally visited with Mr. Edwards at the Nevada
