So let's put things in perspective. 1- The certs were de listed. 2- The Company is no longer around. 3- Everyone involved in the beginning is no longer around. {to my knowledge} 4- All the money was supposedly put into accounts that could not be distributed until the right time. From what i remember. 5- Now, everyone involved does not have contact with these accounts because they are gone. 6- So who knows anything about these accounts? Due to the fact i have not been around for about 8yrs. 7- My friend had passed about 1.5 yrs ago and i was curious since he got me into this mess. HAHA 8- How many people have died and were harassed and threatened, Lawyers and others researching this so called Company that had nothing to it. Hmm 9- Now, we are told this? Now this all is coming together. 10- Portrush is right. |

I can remember 10000 Investors in this stock and they are saying only 1000 will Benefit.. Did we really lose 9000 CMKX investors..? Let's get back to where the real money was to be... Al Hodges.. No one wants to talk about that...? The DOJ was always small Fish.. It was always If they collect money from the bad guys it would be given out to us.. Hit or miss right there... Hodges was the one who yelled out MONEY for all... Was Hodges the real scam or is there still a pot of gold with our names on it.. Happy St. Patty's Day my Gals and Boys... Maybe Transfer On Line still holds that Pot... Just Tired of still waiting.. JMHO--JWLOB

I hesitate to post this because I surely don't want to foster false hope. Seems pretty clear; restitution is looking unlikely based on no assets reclaimed or claimable. If they cannot issue $25 per person for the approx 1000 who qualify, then they only have $25K. Can’t do much with that. It was interesting where they disavowed naked shorting. They did not say it didn’t exist just that the defendants did not participate in it. But it wouldn’t be the defendants that did NSS, it would be the brokerages, would it not? And didn't they reclassify it as FTD? Failing to deliver that which they sold...because they didn't have it? THAT might be where F&P has a place in this saga, but how could it ever be made public? Regardless, if there is life beyond April I cannot see the pathway today. Not saying it isn't there, not saying it is. Just observing and trying to keep it all in context. If I got my original investment back I would be thrilled. Who wouldn't? The more disappointing notion maybe the amount of time and energy folks invested in dreams and hopes that returned flatlined. This is where it will take an extra dose of fortitude to step up, shelve it and look forward while moving on. I've been painted wacko for maintaining this thought--but I don't think we were asked to pull certs for nothing, nor that the backstory at brokerages during the process was moot. I've long believed it was a sting and if true it will never be admitted to...perhaps at our expense. It isn't over until they declare it done. Next target: April.  interesting how the doj didn’t give any details about how investors in most instances cannot provide detailed trade info as no brokerage has records that far back. So even the 1,000 they referenced who may be asked to provide more info that cannot is it too bad so sad or what? To any other trusts should they exist a court approved list would seem to be helpful imo. The saddest thing about all of this is how long it took then I recalled they put a halt on the trading of the stock for a brief period why didn’t the DOJ attack them instead of letting them resume? |

MBH, great to see you posting again. Are you in the Dallas area or back in Alaska yet?
To me the Town Hall was the 1st step to finally getting at the real money. They can keep any restitution as defined by the DOJ yesterday. Vegashousehunter’s post after the Town Hall on page 16 of this thread exactly defines how I feel.

Port: You have given more to this journey than most, Since BobH's passing, you and Harv have been bright spots for us all. If for no other reason, we have stuck together through this for more than a decade. Let's find a purpose to keep stronger together....whether our ultimate goal is realized or not, I have been blessed by many on this board as well as 1MM. This information today is not unexpected, as some have recognized. Regardless, this has kept us as a group through many rough times, and we have persevered. Let us find a new path. Perhaps a "Pay It Forward" movement, we could raise awareness and/or funds for worthwhile causes ......LET'S BRAINSTORM! Let's stay together. Candle Thank you Candle, I appreciate your kind words. I wouldn’t put myself in the same league as Harv...we do hold disparate views. But I would say this adventure has been made better by everyone sharing their thoughts and insights. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to come to know many great people. Suffice to say, their insights or relationships with others they know (some in key positions with key organizations) have helped me to carve out a balanced area in which to wait it out. Many have worked hard to provide insight or encouragement—which can be challenging in a mass of angered and disappointed folks. Still those that did try to help ought to be celebrated rather than vilified. Those that championed investigators, other attorney efforts, and so on. Unsung accomplishments for the effort alone, though desired results never materialized. This time one year ago I made a strategic decision that has brought personal change that demands a shift in priority—less hobby time, more focus time to accomplish goals far outside of CMKXnation. As a result I will be pulling back on the boards some...we’ll see what April holds. But Manny is dear to me even as a crotchety old geezer...so I’ll hang here to help as I can. At least until it’s no longer warranted or appreciated. |
