Sick Day?..lol...When I first started my current job (about 18 years ago) I called into work and told them I was taking a sick day. My boss fired me. My manager finally got the boss to take my back about 2 hours later and the condition was for me to be at work in a half hour. I was sick as a dog (he thought i was out drinking all night, but i wasn't) but made it there. One hour later, I was admitted into the hospital, where I spent the next week. Ever since then, he doesn't doubt me when i'm sick.(even if I was out drinking)...Lmao.
