I am never going to use the word "soon" again after all this ===== I am unwilling at this point to say anything more than I believe it will be soon:

You guys crack me up. As long as we're only talking .54, you're able to support this, but any more than that is unrealistic and unachievable. Funny stuff.

Aren't all of the other payees chomping at the bit like we are? I'm talking about all of the other payees on the list of 20 that Al mentions. And, are we one of the "one or two" that has not had the money transferred to the trustee? How long do all of you think that this Global Settlement can remain on hold, while the other two payees are waiting to be funded?
The update sounds to me like we are not one of the one or two unfunded trustees. Perhaps an insider will set us on another time frame to hope for. YOU ALL KNOW that we will be given another expected waiting period at some point. I, for one, would welcome anyone's guess as to how much longer. OK, I'll go first ............................ 2 MORE WEEKS UNTIL PAYDAY. That is my official guess.

Just saying that there were some who reasoned that THE TRUST contained the equivalent of .54 per share. Other sources, penalties, interest, etc, can bring the total up considerably... perhaps to a MAX of $6. Ed

Ucaughtme,
Isn't there enough of the guessing and guruing out of paltalk?
Ok, what the heck, I'll play... I'll go with my buddy Don imHO and say mid-to-late October for actual money-in-hand. That would necessitate ER at least 2 weeks (another guess) before-hand.
Just call me, Ed Jagackadacca

Hey! Maybe there is a message board for some of the other Global Settlements recipients, and we can talk to them? Al says that there are "many other programs" waiting for distribution. Maybe they have a "Mona" too? There must be other "life" out there that we can communicate with. We can't possibly be the only ones talking about this settlement stuff on message boards.

Brig, I understand the enormity of this, I also understand that some have been fighting this for years and years and years and that it may never happen. Me making 8 mil off a 6k investment is just much easier to support wholeheartedly than making 40mil is. That's all. I made the connection to the global settlements a long long time ago so this new stuff from Al doesn't mean much to me, I still have the same support I always did.

Because I think in 99.9% of shareholders who are in their right mind, they know that 3.87Trillion dollars does not exist for us. Ed, I do not ever jump on anyone for what they think they know. This is only what I think I know. The thing is, on this board, NO ONE KNOWS. 3.87 T, is just the # he in going in with.. Not what he think's is agreeable to..

There is a disconnect here. The bottom line is, that unless the size of the pain inflicted on the bad guys is enormous, it will not be meaningful.
People complain all the time that the bad guys stole 400 billion and got fined 500 million, saying that it is just a cost of doing business. When it reality, it isn't business. It is fraud, theft, illegal and immoral.
I guess it is a good thing that good decent people have a hard time "justifying" believing in a large payout on a small investment. When in fact it is and has been a way of life for these crooks. And the only way it will stop is by taking from them their power to steal (BASEL and other reform) and taking from them, their capital.
There will be no problem at all, with me coming to terms with $6 or $40/share. None, whatsoever. I am and always have been here for one thing and one thing only, retribution.

was BASEL even around when the ""trust" was funded? Was world settlements, redistribution of wealth? This all sounds like smoke and mirrors to me. Can Al just let us know what the DTCC is holding and i will call them and ask what is the process to release my funds.
