some more.. very_tired15: My biggest copncern from day one was that Maheu collects, but then they make a deal with corrupt people in government to block the payments so in the end, they can all split it up. I believe we are likely past that point, but maybe not mrsjellis: Would ER mean that the funds are released to the trustee? very_tired15: That is what ER means. The funds are abailable to the trustee very_tired15: available very_tired15: mrsjellis, I would imagine everyone has their doubts or concerns, considering the past conduct we have dealt with.. however, I can say that he was very certain - perhaps as certain as he could be very_tired15: gotta run got paperwork to do fvery_tired15: try to have a peaceful day olks. I doubt a man like Maheu, with his track record, would be that naive, to simply trust the government to "do the right thing"... makes me think that he must have insisted upon a clause being added to the trust agreement for a drop-dead date... still, not so sure if that is the case... Hey, but at least Al is "as certain as he could be"... maybe Al knows more than he is letting out... I have to give him the benefit of the doubt not to be naive either, that after the SEC broke so many promises of ER that he would now feel so certain without good reason. IMO.

Too many trying to split hairs, trust that this has been a done deal long ago. Let it play out, all is well.

crackerjack:
Chase was down yesterday when I tried to access it around 9 or 10 AM. It was STILL down at 6 PM.
That's not routine maintenance.
There was something special going on... or they were having severe problems.
I hope it was the former... It's a fact: All day yesterday - unavailable This morning around 8:00 or so, I was able to log in Now, unavailable again...

As I sit here reading the endless prognostications, I am reminded that no one here, knows anything.
We will see what we will see when we see it.

I know what you are saying, and it all seems to be pointing that way with the 45 day request instead of 30... but if we don't have ER tomorrow, or at the latest Friday, are you still gonna stand by this being a done deal long ago? ... and splitting hairs helps the time pass. IMO.

This whole thing smells fishy as usual. A couple of questions to ponder: Why did Al ask for 45 days instead of the standard 30 days? Wasn't this supposedly because there was some "set date". Sounds like that's not the case now. Why is Al waiting yet another day if he is going to refile anyway? File the d*mn thing already, all that has happened is we have given them more and more time. What happens if Al refiles? Haven't people been saying this can't go public? Once he files isn't it then public? I have wondered the same thing... him requesting 45 made it seem like one of two things: either there was a set date for automatic ER or he needed more time to prepare the filing (maybe to gather more evidence?)... If he had all the evidence, and there wasn't a set date, at the time of the MTD hearing, then why wouldn't he just have gone with the 30 days? We would most likely be at the same point in this game but a couple weeks earlier. It's like he gave them an extra 15 days to keep our money from us. Well, one thing I have learned: when Al asks for a certain amount of time, he is gonna use it all... IMO. Many have watched the bouncing ball for too long, it has made you watery eyed and blind. The Bivens is the final bouncing ball and many have focused too much on it while the plan has done it's job behind the scenes. The money has never been anyone's but ours the entire time, let it play out and relax. Re-file or No Re-file, the ending is etched in stone. The new financial system is a go. It all happened while you were watching the bouncing ball. Any negativity is wasted energy! And that is a FACT! Don, IMHO!

So, ER really isn't fool-proof... from the MTD hearing, it sounded like this ER was part of a trust agreement, allowing the SEC to decide when to release the funds, that the trustees were following their duty by not releasing the funds without permission... now Al is worried about "fake permission"? Well, keep the pressure on, but if the filing doesn't have much meat, won't it just get dismissed, taking away any leverage? IMO. Btw, Sunbeam, thanks for posting the coversation. BETTER TO BE SAFE THEN SORRY... Better to be safe THAN sorry
