It won’t be long and the US Attorney on our case, Trutanich, will be asked to quit. He was appointed by Trump. Then if history repeats itself we will experience delay until another is appointed by the new administration. Then a delay while that one gets caught up on details, and then who knows what will be next. Boy did that ever take the wind out of my sails. Makes sense though Port. At that point kiss it all good bye. Hole

To me if they just dump us and forget about us, it's a prime example of how we the people can expect to be treated with everything else. I truly hope not.

I'm not trying to be a downer here, rather just manage my expectations based on history. My hope is that they truly pull the trigger this time and I'm looking for an announcement this Friday. If there is restitution set to be paid out then whatever the process its likely in motion. I hope so, anyway. The willingness to allow people to file claims well past the deadline seems to indicate a want to get it right and not leave anyone out who has filed legitimately.

I am of the belief we probably have a better chance of getting paid under Biden than under Trump. Biden is a lot friendlier to China than was Trump, who just may have been holding up their payment while playing hardball negotiating the "Art of the Deal" surrounding trade between the U.S. and them. China doesn't want to deal to get what already rightfully belongs to them. As much as I despise Biden, I wouldn't mind him as much if he does something, directly or indirectly, to help us get paid.

I'm REALLY interested to see what the plan is how they decide to distribute per person/share. By what Veronica said, it seems there's a definite date and line in the sand whether you are in or out. Would each additional person that has submitted a VIS dilute what each current victim would have received? Does everyone get the same $XXX, take it or leave it? Is it pps like we've all heard for years? If that's the case, why do we need to submit VIS at all if they know how many people and shares fell victim to these crimes? Do they have a master list and are just checking people off as they submit VIS and then they circle back and try to contact those not checked off? I'm on the edge of my seat! IT'S MADNESS!

I cannot see how they could distribute any other way than by share and maintain fairness. They asked for a victim statement showing proof of your loss. If I lost X and you lost XX, then providing restitution equally is not fair and just. But here's a thought: what if they have a fund to distribute and they FIRST provide restitution to those who filed a loss claim (VIS) and THEN distribute the balance to all stockholders who bought shares before the line in the sand? (said to be April 2008) Would that be fair? Essentially claim filers get a bit more. I suppose if someone didn't fill out the VIS they would say no, and for those that did, yes. The fact remains though; we can all think of a dozen reasons why someone should NOT have to fill out a victim form. But the DOJ only need to state ONE reason for not compensating someone; "you didn't file a claim." Like it or not, their reason would hold until and perhaps even if someone spent gobs more money to go legal, file a case and wait years more for resolution. IMO, FWIW, EIEIO

The email I received, said to attend the town hall meeting, and it will explain everything! Hopefully everyone will be compansated,as long as they bought shares. If you registered shares with the Transfer Agent, that should be good enough! I hope! Lol. Good luck everyone!

Well I'm of the belief you had to submit your proof of damages to be eligible for restitution, especially in light of the fact that CMKM is not a publicly trading company and nobody else is responsible for monitoring it than those who purchased it. No different than purchasing anything defective and having to file a claim for damages through CAL or other means. Besides, time and time again it has been mentioned by the DOJ office in Nevada that you had to submit your proof and then be vetted by the FBI to be added to the victim list. I seriously doubt the FBI is going to vette 50,000+ shareholders around the world and try to verify their purchases without having any of the requested info. Good thing is we have only a small wait to find out..

As for my belief in the likelihood of getting paid under one President over another, that's not political, it's theoretical.

The rumor is that...Millionaires board may have 'gone down' from heavy Trump activity. It's not certain. However, boards are being careful not to 'cross the line'. Because Probards gave no warning. Nobody gives a crapp about anybody's politics here....the goal is to save the board. Because you never know when they'll strike. Got it. Thanks!
