i agree! the SEC needs to review at least another year's worth of public comments about naked shorting.

unless the SEC gives every American the chance to blog about naked shorting then that agency won't reeeeeeeeeeally know what it should do about the problem.

if only the SEC had more time to figure out what it should do about naked shorting. it's all so complicated and difficult. how can it ever decide? it's hard.

please, send in more ideas. we can't decide what to do. the problem is far more complex than our little brains can figure out. please, write more comments. write more comments. write more comments. write more comments......

I wanted to clarify better in what context the optimism relayed previously was derived. This individual does not want to be taken out of context or embellished, precisely why I consider this person credible.

I believe this person is speaking from their own individual shareholder perspective as opposed to a professional standpoint, but is no doubt knowledgable in their own right. This is IMO a very important distinction.

While there is optimism, I don't believe this person knows or has been told of any amounts or exact timelines.

So perhaps I was a bit too exuberant? If so I apologize.

I myself remain optimistic that everything happening is for our ultimate benefit.

I still say STING even before CMKX took over the public shell from Cybermark. Many aspects of the DD process point to this.

I had previously indicated this source has status as a professional in the type of work this person performs. This person is connected to CMKX corporate activity. However, I felt there needed to be a distinction between this person's professional involvement vs this person also being a significant CMKX shareholder.

IMO, this person's comments are more from a personal perspective vs professional.

This person does not wish embellishment. This person remains very optimistic for CMKX shareholders and feels we are not far away from seeing resolution to our wait. But again, there has been no extended knowledge provided as to any amounts or exact timelines.

I can only tell it as I see it because when I tell it...it can only be my own personal opinion.

I believe bona fide shareholder interests were protected long ago.

I believe we will be compensated.

I don't worry anymore about the when and how much.

Their greed and arrogance blinded them and deafened them to the real world. Ohh they heard, and they saw..... but they were too arrogant to even think they could be taken down. Literally overnight, the landscape changed and they were standing on quicksand.

Listening to the talking heads this morning sickens me even more. Listening to what the CEO's and big wigs walk away with is even more sickening. Grand Jury's must be seething right now...and I am waiting for the other half to kick in. DOJ indictments!!!!!! Bring it on!

why haven't we heard anything more about the SHORE GOLD vs STAR decision? what is up with that?

SHORE denied they were even interested in the case but took it to court three times! LOL

oaky, so SHORE says they aren't interested because the claims aren't worth shiiit, and yet they fight it in the courts for two or three years. okay, maybe their corporate lawyer was wasting time around the office SHORE's CEO decided he needed some work.

so, SHORE loses again. now, what happened? any news?

and what is with SHORE's share price? is it really below a dollar? why?

Chic, hate to break your eternally-defeatist attitude, but this has EVERYTHING to do with CMKX.

For over four years, thousands of CMKX-shareholders have been writing letters, picketing, complaining to their politicians, friends, loved ones, co-workers, and anyone else who would LISTEN about the nastiness of naked shorting.

The GREAT shareholders of CMKX -- the very ones who were considered nut-cases, crack-pots, tin-foil-hatted idiots, and lunatics -- played an ENORMOUS role in bringing Naked Shorting to the world's attention.

WE HELPED MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WE HELPED MAKE A CHANGE.

We may not get rich, but this has EVERYTHING to do with us.

I applaud all those Bonafide Shareholders who DID make a difference instead of just b*tchING about it.

I hate to disagree, but this has everything to do with the naked shorting of the financial markets before they put a stop to shorting those 19 financials. They now see how this will ruin the market, and have finally smelled the coffee.

If you still believe that CMKX was naked shoreted, then we will agree to disagree.

Regardless of my opinion of CMKX being naked shorted; the CMKX Shareholders made a difference in bringing Naked Shorting to Everyone's attention, including the SEC. We helped open their closed eyes.

The seed was sown in the January 7, 2003 CMKI PR:

"Third, CMKI has been informed that majority shareholders plan on holding their shares in certificate form indefinitely if it helps the Company combat "naked short selling". Under a naked short sale, short positions are not declared, shares are not borrowed to cover the short sale, and the shares are sold without delivering the stock to the purchaser. Real shareholder ownership is undermined by naked short sales of stock and failed deliveries of real certificates that artificially inflate ownership and devalue the price of the securities."

I have a very interesting inquiry...

First of all...I have 2 teenage daughters (heaven help me)...but I have them give me a monthly financial statement of their expenditures...IE: money in/money out....I am teaching financial responsibility...(better me than their future husbands).

I would find it VERY interesting to find out just HOW MUCH has been "invested" INTO CMKX by the shareholders...

We look at:

How much TOTAL was INVESTED by shareholders
How much TOTAL money was received into the CMKX coffers
How much was received into the DTCC for transactions
How much was received by brokers for transactions.

Then we subtract:

How much was put into R&D (research and development)
How much went to Urban (he deserves a paycheck)
How much was put into CMKXTREME (advertising)
How much went to Urbans friends, family and Colleagues(?)
How much went to OTHER "expenses" (what ever they may be)

THEN we find out:

How much went to "High priced lawyers" (for WHAT?)
How much went to geologist
How much went to CPA'S
How much went to even MORE Lawyers
How much went to J.E. (and others)
How much went to even MORE Lawyers

After that we find out:

How much went to Kevin
How much is going to "None of your d*mned business" Frizzell
How much went to even MORE Lawyers
How much is going to the NEW BOD (and WHY!)
How much is going to "Faulkhead" (and WHY!)
Where is ALL of this money COMING FROM?

I REALLY think that these figures would be quite interesting to ALL OF US...don't you agree?

After all this is OUR company...and we have EVERY RIGHT to know what is going on.

I truly believe that we have had an exorbitant amount of legal "fees" ...but what results have we TRULY gained by said "fees"? What has been accomplished?..(besides of MILLIONS of $$$ of "fees" being paid out?) Where are the results?

Have we been fleeced ?
Have we been extorted?

I realize that there is a "costs of doing business"....but jeese...WHAT HAVE BEEN THE COSTS?....and WHY?

THEN we look at:

What has the SEC done to return monies to shareholders?

I realize that the SEC has ongoing litigation..
I realize that the "Tyler Bunch" has ongoing litigation...

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!

How does this benefit US as shareholders?

WHO benefits from all of this? (It seems EVERYONE but US)!

You can BET that the SEC knows all/most of this info
You can BET that "Tyler" knows all/most of this info

I will NOW teach my daughters to NEVER invest in the stockmarket ..to put their savings in a mason jar...at least they will always have the cash that they earned safe and sound. It is better than putting their money into something that is NOT protected and they will STILL have their "seed money".
Afterall....what is the point of saving it up anyway? It is SUPPOSED to be for investment purposes and saving to create larger amounts..true?

This whole system seems to be corrupt....and that is so sad.

This has been MY take on the situation...correct me if I am wrong.

Great Post and also GREAT QUESTIONS..>Perhaps some of these answers will be on their tax returns...If this new BOD is real perhaps they will share this information..>WE AS SHAREHOLDERS have a RIGHT TO REQUEST this information AS STATED IN THE ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION. I doubt we will get it then that will give us a right to SUE..>Think about it folks....This is OUR COMPANY!!!
